A/N: Since I don’t think it was clear last chapter, the moment when Jinu intervened was when Bobby was getting his soul halfway sucked out of his body and straight up in the middle of dying. Jinu stopped the soul sucking in the nick of time but as a result, Bobby did not in fact hear his assailants call Jinu a ‘traitor’. I just wanted to clarify that~

This is a fantastic story, for once I don’t care at all about the lewd stuff you usually add to stories. I’m here for the story and the story only. Loving this so far, can’t wait to see more Cambrian!

They are correct in that his actions don't make sense in the context of trying to hurt or trick them, even if Rumi won't and can't admit it because she desperately needs the smoke screen

2025-09-15 10:05:41 +0000 UTCWell, at least Jinu isn't blind to Rumi's current faults...does make me hope that Jinu works sideways by building a rapport with Bobby and getting him fully onside with protecting Rumi, Mina and Zoey from their own issues. Especially when Gwi-ma is escalating things in such drastic ways as trying to impersonate Bobby after sucking his soul out.
