Theloyalmuppet

yea i think their brains switched at different points to realising it wasn't USD,lol

Jamie Derry

49:56 omg lmao

Jamie Derry

were they defo talking in kph?

Jamie Derry

Could watch Karl Pilkingtons musings all day! I feel sorry for the lady laying on a table in a club, it's sickening, I hope its well paid and all that butler nonsense, id never want another human being at my beck and call like that.

Gerard McCartan

Facts. However, some people who come across as cold and detached, are good people, it's just their determined and focused behaviour seems cold.

Gerard McCartan

you have been that fast 170kph is just under 105mph, ive done that many times ( if your the police reading this then pretend it says 70)

Rob Pontin

Mike unfortunately you usually don’t get to the top by being good hearted

Nichole Hutchison

When he said thirsty work it’s because in the UK you offer people coming in to fix stuff a drink usually it’s like the done thing here. Idk about the US 🤣

Nichole Hutchison

still expensive but 170,000 rand is 7,322 pounds lol a bargain

ian

“Before you know it, you’ve fallen out and you’ve ended up with some tart”

Kayleigh

.

Duncan

I agree with what you said about greedy people with too much money. I think those born into money or those money has come easily to tend to be that way. Elvis was famously very generous and I think it's because he had experienced having nothing.

ElvisLee

Karl is definitely a better model than Japanese house cleaner, LOL

Fordy7169

Karl was an amazing model, he should've kept it up! 🤩 By his own logic, 'people who don't wanna do what their brains are good at' should be banished to Room 101

Dextrous (Lewis)

The watch was about $5,000

Kieran B

Mikes little section of ASMR noises wasn’t so relaxing

Stuart Hepden

Sent you the deleted scenes video for series 1 too. Will send you Series 2 deleted scenes when you get round to it

Danny

There's a nursery rhyme about that 😅🪰

Danny

Dr NakaMats has invented over 3500 things. There's a 5 minute spotlight video on him here. He's almost a 100 years old now https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AnjSjJOEfSc

Danny

I have series I used to have up on my channel that comedian Bill Bailey did about Cape Town. Apparently they have a HUGE problem with baboons there. It focuses on different troops of baboons in different areas. They even have a "baboon police" there. Essentially Cape Town was built and expanded into their territory in a jungle area and ever since they've been overrun with them as they nowhere to go. Really interesting show

Danny

I forgot to cut out the entire bit where I swallowed the fly 😂

RegenerationNationTV

Me and my dog lived for frisbe time at the park. Hes 5 now and we've just been told he needs surgery on both back legs 😔 I've lost my frisbe friend maybe its time to try a boomerang

bdazzer85

I've thought about having a ridiculous amount of money in the past and it remains the same. I'd want to cover friends and families cost of living (minus food) so install solar, heat pumps whatever that may be, pay off mortgages and setup direct debits for utilities so they still have to work but they don't need to stress about the big things. Then I'd want to contribute to my local community. The local council for example recently sold every communtity centre they hold which has killed off a number of charities and youth clubs. I'd want to buy them and give them back to the community. This I would make my new job because I would struggle to retire, I get bored when I take my holidays for work. I think it's strange that someone like Kenny with that upbringing would spend so much on nothing.

SomeBSName

Batman's the only person who needs a butler 😂. Facts again from Dilkington.

Gary

Pretty sure the first thing anyone does in England when they have a tradesman or anyone else over is offer them a cup of tea. I think Karl was perplexed that he hadn't already had his tea and biscuits before starting to clean. I had my boiler serviced last month and that was the first thing I asked when they said they were servicing the boiler.

SomeBSName

The watch prices were in rands so 100k rands is 5k US dollars. Still a lot for a watch

BigDoggTheDon

12hrs on a flight I would 100% eat fish of a lady, and I don't eat fish as I hate it, and that's saying something 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Dan Anderson

If Mike swallowed a fly, I'd reccomend him swallowing a spider

Clowd

Everyone's gangster until they swallow a fly

Brad Johnson

It's a fascinating study, I've tried to work it out a lot in the past, looking at upbringing and what they were used to but I had 1 parent v money orientated, flash cars, watches, clothes and the other is completely opposite(divorced him lol), still out cooking for the homeless at 83 once a week. Am sure psychologists can chip in but even siblings can be very different. Fascinating ol world. Can't abide suffering tho, no, I agree.

emu cat

Mike! Oh got all concerned for him, the little bean. I assume it is was the bug fighting back. Rest those warm pear shaped tones of yours.

Noster

I would feel ill spending that much money on something like a watch. I would be so scared something would happen to it! Using money in the way Kenny does is just a shallow happiness in my opinion. I think I would rather share that wealth so more people could have a comfortable life instead of me having an obscenely luxury life

Emily

The end part was like watching a modern day version of Simon at the fashion show minus the ball 😆

Mark Rudd

Dr Nakamats is 97 now and still working and inventing. Look him up. What a legend.

Gerard McCartan

I don’t know if the guy meant 170kmh which would be 105mph. I went to German a few years ago in my car and reached 197mph. It didn’t feel as scary as it should have done. It was more the adrenaline after I’d slowed down and realised I’m not dead 😆 would love to crack 200 but don’t think I’ll ever be going back as I’m older now haha

Mark Rudd

Kenny thought he was Jay in his Australian montage. No doubt Kenny has done some dodgy stuff and no-one's left to say where the bodies are.

emu cat

23:42 did you hear what Karl said when the guy said sit in the car? He mumbled , I’ve got shit on my shoes 😆😆

Mark Rudd

Thank you Erica! I'm not fimiliar with the term poorly though

RegenerationNationTV

How about some peanut butter crackers?

RegenerationNationTV

🤣

RegenerationNationTV

Same to you Matt!

RegenerationNationTV

50:00 good save there Mike!

Jay Walker

I like this episode because while I am German/Scottish, I spent most of my life in Cape Town, South Africa. When Karl goes to Cape Town I get all giddy and excited and remember my old home.

Yoshua Simoleit

Bothers me too. In his defence it seems to be widely used across America despite it making absolutely no sense/being the exact opposite of what it’s intended to convey

Ash C

When was the last time you heard someone say "holy moly" :D

Sam

I’d never watched this series before and I actually prefer this to Idiot Abroad 😅. I liked idiot abroad but I’m not sure Ricky’s sadism brought the best out in Karl. Yeah I agree with what you said about money Mike. It annoys me too, imagine driving past a homeless person in your limo or whatever one of your thousands of cars. Hope you’re ok Mike maybe all the stress while you cat was away now you’ll get poorly now she’s back. Like I always got poorly after my exams finished 🥴😆

Erica

I'm sure it's been pointed out before, but the phrase is "couldn't care less" not could. Heard Mike say it a few times and it bothers me more than it should 🤣

George Lund

I love you man but 'he COULDN'T care less'. 😋

Chris Howard

Yeh a woman covered in fish is not something that’s on my fantasy bucket list.

Julian

A fan of the American sitcom "New Girl"

Tej Sandhu

Seeing Karl going around in the van with the odd job man in Japan reminded me of a brilliant film, Perfect Days, about a Japanese guy who lives a really simple life, cleaning public toilets for a living, and indulging in his interests outside of work. Really makes you think about how satisfying a simple life could be.

Dan G, Leicester

Mike, I love you dude but I ain't eating sushi off your belly my friend.

Dan Padgett

Same!

Dan G, Leicester

What is a new girl fan

SimonNZ

early worm!

Nikki 9 6 gravel-pit

So glad to hear Presley is home safe. 🤗 This is how I find out. The Patreon "chat" is such a mess I couldn't keep up with it. 😅

Tony Mingoia

Officer! There’s a man on Patreon talking about nurses & uniforms (that might be my interpretation). Please put him in line for questioning… after the other 30 million men are questioned first 🤣

Clive Parry

Thanks guys for this reaction. Your the best! Have a great week
