Comments
I'd say the last thing Covenant should do is hit the Empire during the transport operation. I can totally see it now. Covenant heads home in victory, patting themselves on the back, and meanwhile the Hookwolf transport was a total shit show. I imagine the Protectorate would be PISSED OFF, and understandably so. Plus, I've got to agree, pretty much anyone worth a damn from E88 will be attacking the Hookwolf transport. No need to be "proactive" when you KNOW your enemy is going to come at you with everything they've got. Unless you're going to hit them BEFORE the transport, that is.

2025-09-13 12:43:01 +0000 UTCEven if you want to act independently from the PRT, having pretty much zero communication between the two groups would be in detriment of anything they try to do. They'd be constantly stepping on each others' toes, compromising each others' strategies, etc. Now, cooperation with the understanding that each "team" is actually acting separately, that would be ideal. On a similar vein, the E88 will probably (as mentioned in another comment) be committing a big amount of their parahuman forces on this. As such, "attacking them on another front" would be pretty much going after low level mooks on stashhouses and such, while allowing their capes to all go free.

2025-09-10 16:06:14 +0000 UTC-but in the end they’d decided against it Showing off Sherrel this early, Missing a fullstop after “it”. Another great chapter! I'll skip the vote this time though since I don't know what's the best choice here.

2025-09-10 14:35:08 +0000 UTCThe best option would have been 3. They're an independent group and should stay that way, the moment they start taking 'requests' from the PRT is the moment they become tied to them and their rules. Everyone knows the E88 will attack so the protectorate should act as defense while Covenant flanks and attacks them from the back with their own plan.

2025-09-10 13:03:19 +0000 UTCI see the majority is voting for cooperating with the Protectorate, but hear me out. While it's important to guard the transport of Hookwolf, it's foolish to concentrate all your resources on on doing only that. It's also the kind of reactive strategy the PRT is often criticized for. Instead of acting reactively like the PRT always does, Covenant has the option of being proactive here. Hitting E88 while they mean to hit the convoy will force the Empire to either lose to Covenant or to abandon Hookwolf, they would probably be forced to divide their forces and that means those guarding the transport would have an easier time. By striking at the Empire, Covenant would be indirectly protecting the transport and it's a more proactive approach than the guard and wait angle.

2025-09-09 17:43:06 +0000 UTCOof. Tough call, and I would not want to be in Jason’s position having to make it. I think throwing the protectorate a bone here is probably a good long term investment
