Like redhawktiger, I'm a bit...underwhelmed...by Dany getting her first real taste of Axel as a lover (versus watching him drive his wives and concubines to madness from sexual pleasure via the hidden observation spots) in this chapter. There were definite high moments, like the acknowledgement that any good sex between Axel & Dany would not involve any furniture do to how easily they'd wreck it in their passion and how even a stone floor wss starting to buckle from the force they were using on one another, but I honestly think that Axel should have held off until there was further progress in getting the last Targaryen daughter to a better place mentally. While Daenerys currently needs to be someone with a lot a remorse and regrets at her past actions and being gullible, her extra-strength self-esteem issues on display here honestly cast a souring effect over the fun. My personal hope is that Axel or one of his women picked up on Dany not being as OK as she might have tried to portray herself as, and we get a near-future no-smut chapter where Dany receives some needed support from her new family. Score: 7/10

2025-09-08 01:05:19 +0000 UTCI liked it. I like the fact that they did it standing simply because they'd have destroyed any furniture. Also, I noticed that he didn't bother pulling out. Is he perhaps at a point where he doesn't mind knocking up his concubines? Cause the more baby Viltrumites, the better imho! Though I would've enjoyed it better if we got some more details in how he ploughed Missandei.
