Due to my personal feelings ,I'm not a fan of So-mi. so all my future suggestions will be very much ignoring her during PL or not regarding her safety/freedom from Myers and the NUSA.

2025-09-02 06:39:44 +0000 UTCWhy stop at owning just Arasaka? NUSA and Militech are essentially one entity at this stage, with many members of the board being high-ranking officials in the Pentagon. Being the President is just a part of the career path at this point, a promotion from CEO, if you will. You get Myers on side or subvert her while being in control of Arasaka, and you could effectively force through a Miltech/Arasaka merger, which could prevent a second Unification War since Arasaka controls a significant portion of the economy and protections of the Free States. Leveraging the effective corporate control of governments on both sides, you even have a palatable motive to give the citizens of NUSA/Free States and support the Corps during the merger. It represents a genuine chance for true American Reunification (as a Corporate State under the merged Corps' thumb, of course, but those are just details, right?).
