Well...I'm glad that my hopes for Cambrian walking the fine line of honoring the poll results while still maintaining character development cane true (i.e. Lucien accepting Lena's innuendo-laden offer to have dinner and "talk business" but not actually pulling the trigger...at least till he could sell her on his sincere desire to help her without sexual favours needing to be exchanged first). The questions now are "Will Lena accept Lucien as sincere? If she does, what will she do then -- take the out and avoid having to prostitute herself on behalf of her employees, or will she "thank" Lucien anyway? Is Kara gonna be left out of the fun if that happens, or will Lena get to experience being the meat in a metahuman-alien sandwich?" Acknowledging my biases up-front, I'm a SuperCorp shipper and any chance of Lena & Kara is alright in my books...and my poll vote reflects that...but I'd be happy if any in-story near-future fun between Lucien, Kara & Lena doesn't go past third base till they've grown to know each other better.

2025-08-29 02:08:01 +0000 UTCAs we clealy saw in this chapter, Lena was more than ready to sleep with Lucien in the name of getting help to keep her company afloat...without really knowing Lucien's full measure or have any true guarantee that he wouldn't "hit it and quit it" (aka take Lena up on her indecent proposal, but back out after making Lena a bedpost notch). The bigger issue IMO should be Lena's stance on Kara being involved...at least right now. This isn't the Arrowverse, so this Lena has far more neutral feelings overall for this version of Kara due to the minimal contact they've had so far.
