The Ricky Gervais Show - S3E7 'Law & Order'

Comments

For once Karl was right about language. He said the stakes were high and the risk was low and Ricky says that stakes and risk are the same thing and stakes means risk and he meant the gain was high and risk was low. Wrong. Stakes are the amount you stand to gain... the money, the reward. Karl was right!

ArtVandalHey!

Ur not just an American ur a florida man and they haven't got a great image over here lol

scott o'neill

The 10 commandments bit is a lot better in the original podcast because Ricky had found a website where a, shall we say, “ardent” Christian had changed the order of the commandments and was advocating insane levels of retribution for breaking them

Robert Carter

There you go mike! Karls opened youre eyed to finding out jess was a thief!!🤣🤣🤣

Theloyalmuppet

detroit become human is a great game, really can't wait for Quantic Dream's Star Wars game think its going to be epic

Rob Pontin

“I don’t have to, Bruce has a lot of friends” 😂😂😂

I stole once in my life. I was at a fair when I was 16 with my friend and boyfriend at the time. For whatever reason I had the sudden urge to steal a chocolate bar from a stand as I realised how easy it would be to do. The intrusive thoughts won that day. No one noticed. I never had that urge since. Weird.

I've seen every episode of RGS so many times, and I've only just realised now that the animators seemingly didn't animate Steve's joke correctly? The joke about the woman with the big boobs, Steve's joke was he'd be enjoying looking at that but his eyelids would close by themselves and stop him!😂 They just animated him looking at that and following her with his eyes open😅

Sinead R

You should watch Derek 🤣 has them in it proper hilarious 😂 then U got outtakes to watch afterwards

Dan Anderson

Looking over every episode on the sly with a smile on the intro just after big headed bafoon , at your missus should always be done , never stop this 🤣 🙏☺️

Dan Anderson

Such an underrated film. SLJ & Spacey were superb

Rich Cotter

After I first watched this episode I watched the film The Negotiator with Samuel Jackson and Kevin Spacey. Not earth shattering and a pretty standard Hollywood affair but was entertaining enough at the end of the day if one is craving a film on that topic

Ash C

pretty sure Karl is right about birds being louder in louder places. also Suzanne has some cracking tits this episode 😆

TheHigh

It's what I live for!

WOWWWWWWW JESS!!!! We expect from Mike he was a lost cause from the start delboy 2.0 But JESS! I’m SHOCKED, SHOCKED I tell you

zStarr

Mike turned a hostage situation into a sing-along at the end there, that proves he's negotiator material 😆

Clowd

Omg so sad you're nearly finished RGS, enjoy it all while you can!!!🥰

Sinead R

I'm far too much of a softy and would have never wanted to upset my parents when I was a child. I can remember my Mum saying that she was really disappointed in me when I was about 8 (can't remember why) and I burst into tears and sobbed for hours! 😂🤣

Karina Bailey

Also I played Detroit become human through 4 times to get all the story lines, worth it

SimonNZ

I love how much you enjoy making Jess laugh Mike it’s cool

SimonNZ

Might see you on the 'gas station encounters' youtube channel one day 🤣

bobby g

Any many who is happily married can be a negotiator. 🤣

David Smith

I used to work for my Dad during the school holidays, and I was taught a life lesson aged 9. It was the summer holidays and I was working hard towards the end of the first week when one of the people I was working with asked how much my dad was paying me. I didn't know so I popped off to my dad and asked him. "Nothing. If you wanted paying you should have negotiated that before starting work. Never start work until you are happy with the deal". That was the last school holiday where I didn't get paid. I didn't get paid much more than pocket change after that, but it felt so much more at the time. 🤣

The death penalty, with the necessary attendant technical costs and appeals procedure often ends up costing the tax payer more than standard incarceration. Beyond that it's been statistically shown in more studies than I can now count that it acts as no deterrent. If it miscarries it kills someone. It has in the past, and for all our faith in DNA testing, it will do again. And that's quite apart from the broader philosophical point that a society which claims to sanctify human life is on morally dubious grounds when it retains the right to take it in peace time. As Albert Pierrepoint said (and he really should know); "I have come to the conclusion that executions solve nothing, and are only an antiquated relic of a primitive desire for revenge which takes the easy way and hands over the responsibility for revenge to other people."

Dryfesands

Now we have advanced DNA testing & cctv practically filming up our arses in the uk we need the death penalty back. I am not a fan of funding the lives of killers like the Southport demon via my taxes . Rant over.

Erica

I crashed moms car when they were on holiday. I wanted to confess to the police quite early, but the fear of mom had me lying to police and insurance-company for weeks. Eventually the insurance-guy obviously broke me down because it was so clear that I was the "perp" =) But, yeah. If I had just confessed immediately i would have hade a less severe outcome. But mom - oh dear! =D

Christopher Bergren

So 100% agree with you there @mike about the reaction and confrontations from mom of the shit one did and not at all being scared as much of the penal system.

Christopher Bergren

Jess' life of crime is revealed. I bet she is like the godfather

Josh Read

wow jess was a criminal lol

Col Boro

I’ll just leave then 😭
