I talk at work with people if I want but I also like when I don't need to talk a lot I love doing my work in peace I don't need someone babble to me the whole day 🙄

We used have an very old fashioned stair rail that was solid panels and my mum was just saying, probably just making conversation, how she would like it different. Then when we went out, he took a crowbar to the whole thing and pulled it down. However he didn't realize that the pillars had solid metal poles running through them and he couldn't get through them. So for like 2 weeks we had a open staircase you could just jump off the side into the hallway whilst he looked how to get the pillars off till he got some big industrial saw to cut them off

Steve is so active in this one too and I live the line "I want out of this, relationship" from him. Steve and Karl have some legendary arguments in the old shows, you really should, listen to them in your own time as they are 100 times funnier than these small snippets of the shows, it would be so good if they was all animated but there is days worth of material.

Me: I’ve been rewatching Only Fools and Horses lately. Dad: oh yeah, it’s a great show isn’t it. Me: yeh. I haven’t been watching it normally though, I’ve been watching these people on YouTube watch it. Dad: come again Me: it’s this American couple in Florida, they make videos of themselves watching tv. Dad: wtf are you talking about?

2025-08-15 20:19:07 +0000 UTCI'm 61, I lost my Mum 5 years ago, she'd brought me up alone through very hard times and we were very close. Up until her death we lived quite close to each other and I'd go and see her at least 3 times a week and would ring every day. It's not for me to tell others how to live their lives but what I would say is , maybe if you haven't seen or spoke to your Mum / Dad in a while, pick up the phone or even better pop round now and again, don't have regrets when they've gone, it's too late then.

2025-08-15 19:44:05 +0000 UTCPros and cons. You have to be far more proactive at getting them into group activities. One is in Basketball and the other is in boxing. I could handle all of the K-6 stuff. When they started getting into junior high, and now high school we've had to get outside help. I wouldn't want me to teach me History or biology 😂. We are more here for accountability now. They are very good students. They learn quick and have good self discipline. It's worked out great for us thus far.
