When I was about 5/6 yrs old (1980’s) walking with my mum below high rise flats something landed hard on the ground just missing us by inches. Wasn’t til my mum started shouting for help and on her knees beside it I seen it was a child (maybe around 1/2yrs old) who after maybe a minute or so sat up looking around completely fine. Turned out he’d fallen from a 7th floor window onto concrete and suffered no injuries at all other than bruising😳

So, I don't read all the comments, so this might have already been said. but there's a video on Youtube featuring Karl's brother. It's called Benefits Busters. Essentially a show about people on benefits but it's just weird that Karl's brother is on one. It is quite funny, given Karl's stories about him.

I was actually good at bedmaking AND tying laces, so I naturally joined the Army cadets. Turns, out, even in the cadets there's more to it than that. Running about and getting shouted at and stuff. Who knew? Got sick of it in the end.

Karl’s brother was on an episode of Jeremy Kyle (our equivalent of your Jerry Springer) and was a bit of a benefits cheat. He also passed away a few years ago. I think his brother Mark was 11 years older than him. Fascinating to think as a kid Karl looked up to his brother etc but as adults their lives became drastically different going in different directions. Fair play to Karl for making it and doing well in his life considering what he could’ve ended up like. Also he mentioned before how his nan was a patient of Dr Harold Shipman - one of the most notorious serial killers in British history and he operated in a town near Manchester.
