2025-07-29 15:29:40 +0000 UTCI think it was a study done by McDonald's that found people, especially men, don't like ordering extra items when they have to talk to a person. But when they have the kiosk to just select from, they'll order that extra cheeseburger chaser. There's a skit from Key & Peel, with a guy pretending he's got friends over when putting in a large order over the phone. All these issues are gone, so I think he's right, many will order much more food, especially to get the free delivery or free item of food if you order over X amount. The growth in these apps was incredible during the pandemic.
