Fleetwood Mac, three of them take lead vocals.. This was Lyndsey's.. I like ' Angel ' Stevie Nicks sings that one..

Nicholas

To be fair....They'll never beat the Green Manalishi...live

The Rumours album is one of those rare albums where there isn't a bad song. But almost as good as the music is the chaotic craziness of how it was recorded. Much of the album material is one band member having a pop at another with this probably the most notorious. Imagine having to spend the rest of your career singing someone's most negative view of your character over and over again! The thing of it is, it's not only an artistic triumph but a catharcic one as well, because a lot of the bad blood which had been building for years in the band was fully exorcised in the course of writing that album. It's some story.

Stevie Nicks has a unique style of singing for sure. For me, her most iconic song is ‘Dreams’, where her voice is almost haunting in pain. Mick Fleetwood Drums Christine McVie Keyboard & vocals John McVie Bass Guitar Lindsay Buckingham Guitar & vocals Stevie Nicks Vocals

Frank Mac

Gypsy is probably my favourite Fleetwood mac track, not that anyone asked 😅

na plz

Lindsey Buckingham one of the most underrated singer/songwriters. When people talk about Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks name always seems to come up first…apparently she only got in the band as Lindsey insisted as the other members weren’t keen, let’s face it she was up against the amazing talent of Mick Fleetwood and John Mcvie. It’s would also be worth checking out the original Fleetwood Mac line up with Pete Green. Think you would like ‘Need your love so Bad’ as it’s a completely different vibe to the Buckingham/Nicks line up

Mike and Jess, the mid to late 70's were the 'Peruvian marching powder' and alcohol days in the Rock world. Mike you probably have heard many of their tracks particularly from this abum 'Rumours' one of the best-selling albums of all-time and still in charts to this day. Maybe Rumours is worth a full album reaction from you guys, lots of killer tracks on it. Stevie Nicks, Lynsey Buckingham and Christine McVie all share lead vocals and harmonies. P.S. everyone looked like this in 1977 believe me LOL

Mike, don't worry about those who question what you've heard. I'm 66 and have loved music since I was a little girl but I know I haven't heard every band or song because you live your life and have other priorities and other things to attend to. It's only natural. I just LOVE Jess' comment at the end LOL! Great stuff! xxx

A great one to see what Stevie Nicks is all about is Rhiannon by FWM. It's on the playlist but could do with a few more up votes!

To really appreciate this song, the lyrics and this performance you need to know the stories behind it. It is amazing when you know the whole piece.

More Fleetwood Mac please. I was raised on them thanks to my Dad, way back in the late 60s, early 70s (RIP Dad). Memories flood back when I hear the music we listened to back then. I then passed the baton over to my daughters. My youngest daughter (now 38) even purchased a record player, so she could listen to my original vinyl Rumours LP... she didn't just borrow it. It's now hers, as I don't have a record player.

Karina Bailey

You prob ain't wrong Mike...mick Fleetwood did like to dabble in a little bit of lsd

When have you seen a tamborine in a live show recently? Anyone seen the oasis gigs 😍

Edge of seventeen is a monster of a track

Lynyrd Skynyrd - Free Bird Same ballpark!

Captain Cardboard

As Jess knows Fleetwood Mac perhaps you could react to Lanie Gardner’s cover of Dreams. She is really amazing.

Cameron Long

Even today at close to 80 she still looks and sounds amazing. Love all her solo-albums

I always loved the juxtaposition of the names. The male singer is Lindsay Buckingham, and Lindsay is traditionally a womans name over here (though not exclusively) And Stevie Nicks, with Stevie being a more traditionally masculine name. Anyhow, I do love Fleetwood Mac. I always consider this to be the USA Fleetwood Mac, which is more Pop Rock. I also love the 'UK Fleetwood Mac' with Peter Green, before Lindsay and Stevie were recruited which is more Blues Rock. Both great bands in their own right, despite being the same band! I'll round this out with a litle known fact that Mick Fleetwood, the drummer, once stepped over my dads head as he was sat on a curb and asked for directions.

I think it was 4am for the Aussie GP back in the 80s. Set the alarm. Me and my dad. Beanbags about 3 feet from the TV. I don’t think I heard the full song until years later.

Julian

Lol, yes watching the daggers between these two during live performances of The Chain is hilarious!

They swapped singing duties depending on the song. Christine McVie (the keyboardist, who passed away in 2022) also sang lead vocal on ‘Everywhere’ which was a big hit. And yes, Stevie Nicks did have a solo career as well.

Julian

I got introduced the these via F1. I don't think I've ever heard a song that evokes such emotion as The Chain did for me as a child. Hearing that bass kick in at 6am on a Sunday, I knew my dad had switched the telly on downstairs and the Aussie GP was starting.

Nextmans

A real Anglo-American line-up there. Mick Fleetwood is the drummer . A lot of drug taking associated with band at times over the years.

South Coast Rich

Man, those close up shots of Stevie Nicks. So beautiful.

Julian

Bloody love me some Fleetwood Mac! Like Jess, my parents introduced me to them 😊 Pretty sure they are all on LSD! 😂

Emily

You definitely need to watch the live version of Silver Springs🤞

Ben Collins

This song was on Forrest Gump when Jenny was going to jump to her death

buster

I love Fleetwood mac. The Chemistry between Stevie Nicks And Lyndsey Buckingham (male singer ) is off the scale. They were on and off for years. Silver Springs live 1997 is chilling. She wrote the song about him and make him sing the words😂 The way they look at each other in the performance says everything. The group also consisted of another married couple who also spilt so most of the groups songs is all about each other.
