2025-08-07 18:43:19 +0000 UTCAs some of the others have said, I'm inclined to believe that the Drowned God sent them. It makes no sense for sea life (with the exception of the Sea Dragon) to attack him in that scenario considering the massive pressure waves Axel was creating without them being influenced. Not to mention, I highly doubt all those creatures get along with one another, so the fact that they all Avengers Assembled to try and take him down is very telling. I take it to be another test of his capabilities. One big ass kraken wasn't enough, what about several, with just about everything else the sea had to offer? The only thing I'm iffy on is whether the Sea Dragon was a part of the forces being sent. It's clear it was intelligent and just wanted Axel out of there instead of trying to fight him, and there's not necessarily any reason for the Drowned God to have the Dragon boot him out of there unless he's hiding beneath the surface of where Axel was stomping down, which I doubt. In either scenario though, I'd say the result is probably the same and the Drowned God got the message loud and clear, whether he was responsible for sending the sea life after him or not.
