2025-07-23 01:06:40 +0000 UTCI would have liked more pantheons, since Egypt and Rome (at least) are canon, but I get it if he's too OP at this point to have a good story just exploring. As fun as I think it could be to meet the American Pantheon, or remains of the Aztec or something. Riordan's world plays with some very interesting ideas. That being said, him creating his own pantheon isn't outside the realm of possibility. Even if he doesn't pick out more malignant gods to siphon their power into his harem, being members of the harem/royal class of the God of Kings should bestow something, especially on demigod members. Something like opening up the way since in his own pantheon the authorities are unclaimed whereas to ascend in the Greek pantheon would require an unclaimed domain or usurping who already has it. Or he can just open up the blessed/angel category, making positive monsters bound to Olympus/His own realm instead of Tartarus. Less epic, but still solves the problem of his lovers dying as he remains eternal.
