Just stopping by to let you know about this weekend. It's only now that I'm settled back here on the farm.

I think as you know, it's the rainy season here and to make matters worse, I live on a farm far from the city. This place doesn't really suit this job but at the moment I can't leave here since I don't pay rent here and at the moment I don't have the financial means to rent a better place.

On Friday I was halfway through this last illustration and a storm started here. Only my internet wire was broken in three places due to the trees that fell and the electricity has been out since Friday night.

On Saturday morning the power had not yet come back on and we received the news that it might only come back on Sunday due to the severity of the rain and the damage caused.

I needed to publish this illustration because I had already been doing it for two days, so I decided to take my equipment to my parents' house closer to the city center and finish the work there on Saturday. It's a huge hassle to put all this in the car and travel but I had no choice.

Unfortunately for me, I got flooded on the way and had to wait more than three hours for the water to subside before I could drive the car through.

And guess what, when I arrived at my parents' house there was no power there either.

That was when I published the message warning the chaos that I was here using the internet via satellite on my cell phone and also later I published the illustration of what I had done on the farm.

I wanted the boy with just the top part of the outfit but the artist who made this outfit made it as one piece. So I had to render it twice, once to have him with his shirt on and another to have him naked from the waist down. The problem is that each render took 4 hours and I couldn't do the second one at my parents' house without power.

Finally on Sunday the power came back on and by the time I finished it was already dark. I published it, slept there and yesterday I traveled back here to the farm. I arrived here and had to restore the internet by contacting the company. They came and we had to change all the wiring from the house to the street through the woods and trees and that took the rest of the afternoon.

Anyway... It's very frustrating to try your best to do a good job and often fail and lose credibility because of these factors.

It's true that with your support I have already resolved practically all the factors that previously hindered my work. All that remains is to solve the problem of lack of energy.

Unfortunately, I'm far from having the resources to buy a good generator and everything else to install it now. I need about $2,000. to buy the generator, a power inverter valve, about 100 meters of wires and build a small house to house the generator.
