The only problem with your polls , are the facts that you give too many choice haha. Should go to 3/4 choices. Be a much closer poll and people will choose the things worth reacting to. Love the channel. Massive supporter and always will be, just some friendly advice from your bog standard Brit 😆 don’t spoil us with so much choice haha

2025-03-06 22:17:45 +0000 UTCI wouldn't bet on that being the reason mate, there are loads of Scots here, it's maybe just because its not so well known, i seen another channel react to it and thought it was good. I did vote for it but changed my vote as it has no chance this time, but probably in the future it will be :)

2025-03-06 18:51:44 +0000 UTCI know it is not getting the votes because it is very specific to Scotland but what’s inside my baby box is so very you guys. This is what the government gives to the parents of every new born in Scotland FREE. You will be blown away

2025-03-06 17:51:35 +0000 UTCI agree. That said, as much as I loved my time working in Stockholm and skating on their dedicated cycle paths - cyclists are so polite with a gentie 'ding' when they want to pass from behind, whereas I was rudely awoken by a cyclist back in London's Hyde Park (where Royal Parks rules state skaters should use the cycle path) telling me to "fuck off and get out of the way". - not all is perfect in Sweden by any means, where there is a terrible problem with youth alcoholism, for instance.

2025-03-06 14:37:28 +0000 UTCI've never heard of Bents but it's 3 hours 31 minutes from me, if that helps.

2025-03-06 13:34:37 +0000 UTCAlways love Americans reactions to how different our garden centres are compared to US plant nurseries, we offer sooooo much more!!!!

2025-03-06 13:07:55 +0000 UTCI haven't seen it, but that's what I voted for. I suspect we'll have to get through all the British stuff first. I looked at the playlist and someone has added pretty much every food item of UK vs US. So I think we're in for a long slog.

2025-03-06 12:22:17 +0000 UTCI voted for the industrial revolution documentary, but I agree wholeheartedly. You can love your country for the good bits but still learn about and admit to the bad. I saw a reaction to a great YouTube video by an American girl who lives in the UK on the difference between British and American attitudes to patriotism and nationalism which I found fascinating. I don't know if it will ever come up in a poll, but I'll probably have left by the time it does.

2025-03-05 23:43:59 +0000 UTCThe video about Sweden is amazing and gives insight in life and work in Scandinavia and Europe in general. Should have much more votes.

2025-03-05 23:37:26 +0000 UTCAbsolutely, Static Centrehalf. There is too much basking in the so-called glorious past. A solid, confident nation should be able to lift the lid on dark and tragic times and have a balanced conversation about them. I voted for Voices From The Grave.

2025-03-05 22:56:25 +0000 UTCWhy Britain was the birthplace of the industrial revolution before anywhere else is fascinating. I remember a German friend explaining she'd been taught in school that it was because of the Empire, but that never made sense to me, since there'd been many powerful and rich empires before it. This doesn't look at all the manifold reasons, but does a great job of explaining the geographic and human capital that led to it. The conditions caused by the rule of law and a relatively free, educated society feel particularly pertinent in this age of oligarchs and would-be dictators believing they can undermine those vital factors and still make their nations great.

2025-03-05 21:51:46 +0000 UTCThat's a shame. Would be very educational for them.

2025-03-05 21:25:38 +0000 UTCIt is. IRA stuff. It is as a very long video though. Reading the comments, the owner copyright striked the last uploader of it. So might not be wise to put on YouTube

2025-03-05 21:16:21 +0000 UTCThe Bents video is great. That place is like 10 minutes down the road from me

2025-03-05 21:05:43 +0000 UTCOh dear, at 4% (at time of writing) I don't suppose I'll get my way but I'd appreciate your views on "Voices From The Grave." Not only because you're comments are so insightful, but also it might disabuse Americans that we're quite as funny/quaint/cultured as they think we are.

2025-03-05 20:55:51 +0000 UTCI'm assuming the "Troubles" Voices from the grave is about Northern Ireland.
