I can't help but think this is EXTREMELY bad for Palpatine. One Fallen Jedi Council member: "Hah, you fool! Now you see the error of your ways!" A dozen Fallen Jedi, "Hah, now there's a Sith Order!". Half the Jedi order ends up Fallen: "…hey, who died and made Darth Sidi-whatever king?" With all these Fallen Jedi around, Palpatine has something he's never had to worry about in ages… competition!

After all, all, these masters have fallen without totally losing their sh*t. Once they find out who the Sith Master they’ve been hunting is, and how much Sidious has corrupted the Republic, what can they do but take over until they’ve “purified” it? And they’re going to find that there’s as much chance of returning their new empire to republican rule when they’re done as there was of Rome returning to republican rule after Augustus died—the new habits will be too deep-set … if the purifying takes long enough, at least.

Like Force Clouding to mask his Dark side powers from the Jedi and other Force users? Or Force-Bond to to slowly corrupt/enslave others into being Loyal to him through the ones they are Bonded too?

I’ve already got a few ideas bouncing around from what you’ve teased, something like either a steady corruption of the Jedi Code or maybe taking out Sidious and taking over his Emperorship plans (obviously not killing all the Jedi, need the harem to come from somewhere) or maybe even staging Sidious for a fall/coup and replacing him with a chosen partner… what is Dark Padme’s opinion on becoming Empress?
