Thanks for the new controller!

Time for an upgrade for my 2008 Xbox 360 pad, which has major stick problems. I game only on PC, but a pad is more useful for video work - all those dramatic slow zoom shots  and smooth pans just can't be done with a snappy mouse and keyboard.

I was going to go with an SSD, but that can wait.

Breaking the controller in with Sekiro. So thanks for paying for it!

This is a video idea I've had since forever, but it wasn't until Disco Elysium that I thought the concept had matured enough to make into a serious video.

Hope you enjoy it. Spoilers for 2012's Deux Ex Human Revolution, and 1995's Star Trek: A Final Unity, the best Trek game ever. No spoilers for Disco Elysium.

Bullet Hell Shmups: more than dodging

Hey, I made a video! Hope you all like it, thanks for the support. Though, if you forgot you were a patron (it's been six months, who can blame you) cancel before the end of January and you won't be charged for this.

I made a game!

This is basically, the very first video game I have ever made. It took forever because I had to learn how to program and all other aspects of game making basically from scratch. It was made with the Godot engine, which I highly recommend if you're thinking of getting into game making.

If you're wondering why I've been so productive lately, it's because of a great little thing called summer holidays. Unfortunately though, all good things come to an end.

A flawed analysis of CrossCode's difficulty

I've been playing CrossCode, and liking it, for about five hours. "Screw it", I thought, "I'm going to make a video today."

I got up at six and spent half the day writing the script and making this. Usually it takes me at least a week of prep to even get started on a gist video, let alone an analysis. I have to play the whole game, parts of it twice, research what I'm focusing on, play some other games that do similar things, yada yada. Not this time.
