I can’t help but wonder if following Aphrodite’s advice is gonna mess with Percy’s divine portfolio some more, which could be helpful in the upcoming fight, but hilariously inconvenient in the long term, as more plot threads get activated. Also, they don’t seem to pay much attention to it, but Apollo is the god of prophecy besides the Sun stuff they seem more focused on. Makes me wonder if he has in fact foreseen a most likely outcome of Artemis being bound to Percy somehow, and has his own motives to interfere. No matter what, it looks like Percy isn’t following his own advice, and won’t be getting rest tonight. Zoe is gonna be so pissed lmao

A: Something potentially really funny like telling him to randomly slap Hera’s ass right on the cheek and pray that he doesn’t get immediately smote to ashes on knee jerk reflex. Or B: Telling him to do something totally innocuous and (mostly) mundane like making a flower out of water and giving it to her or even just saying “Hey you look really pretty”. Maybe even something literally as mundane and simple as pulling out a chair for her. Of course, there’s also the third and fourth and Nth options, but let’s keep it manageable here and maybe we’ll be surprised lol.

Plus like, if she helps him again, she might think she's entitled to more. Can't let that happen. And if he denies her again, cause this is basically twice, she might get pissed.
