2025-01-12 23:39:43 +0000 UTCI'm not sure if this comes under monkey news but on the BBC News this week was a weird story about a plate of peeled bananas that have appeared on the same street corner on the 2nd day of every month for the past year. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c5y7ez2q910o

2025-01-11 18:29:09 +0000 UTCPancake Day is Shrove Tuesday - literally Mardi Gras, it’s part of the historic church calendar. We do have pancakes at other times but it’s probably the time of the year when everyone has one (well not everyone but you get the idea). Our pancakes are more like crepes than American pancakes

2025-01-11 18:27:46 +0000 UTCHi, can you react to this short clip please (just over 3 minutes) of Ricky & Karl talking about the release of an idiot abroad on dvd https://youtu.be/XyOI0EJWCcc?si=Wz64MQHPNnFYAS1Q

2025-01-11 17:31:26 +0000 UTCPancake tuesday is a day in the UK, Shrove Tuesday, where everybody makes and eats pancakes. It's not a deal from a restaurant or something, it's an official day.
