Summary: The Justice League has heard rumors of the Infinite Realms are gearing up for war with earth from Constantine. Desperate to prevent war the Founders decide to summon the Ghost King to try & negotiate peace. They manage to summon Danny, only he isn't alone. He is actually in the middle of spending "quality" time with his queen Cassandra. Neither are happy being interrupted.

“Ghosts.”
The incredulity in that single word is mirrored across much of the room. When John Constantine had asked for this meeting with the founders of the Justice League, they hadn’t really known what to expect. However, while most of them did not find themselves fighting the supernatural on a daily basis, they were all very aware of the harm that the supernatural was capable of doing.
John Constantine wasn’t a full member of the Justice League, mostly for reasons pertaining to his personality and personal life, but he was still one of the foremost experts on supernatural the world-over. Not just on magic like some of their actual members, but on deeper occult matters.
So when he’d come to them, they’d gathered. And now they were listening to him, but it was still… difficult to wrap their heads around what he was saying. Constantine just sighs and nods to Green Lantern.
“Yes, Ghosts. Not just Ghosts either. The Infinite Realms are, as the name implies, Infinite. Ghosts, Specters, and Spirits just make up the vast majority of their population. “
Leaning forward, the Flash gives an uneasy grin.
“And… they’re gearing up for war with lil ole us for what reason, exactly?”
Huffing, John Constantine shakes his head.
“Because some idiot humans were dumb enough to torture the Ghost King’s daughter while she was here on vacation.”
The heroes and heroines in the room share looks at that.
“… Illegal experimentation?”
Constantine grimaces and nods.
“That and just general all around incompetence. There were two groups involved in this stupidity. One group are incompetent Ghost Hunters who run around making a mess of things more often than not. They know just enough to stick their noses in real, dangerous encounters, and somehow get lucky enough to survive by the skin of their teeth again and again. They’re the ones that somehow managed to capture this Ghost Princess in the first place.”
There are some frowns and some nods at that, but it’s clear everyone is following along.
“The second group are the more competent mad scientists type meddling in things they don’t understand for the sake of studying them. They managed to nab the princess right out from under the Ghost Hunters’ noses. Needless to say, her experience in THEIR hands was downright traumatic and scarring.”
“… From the sound of things, she’s already been rescued then. So there’s nothing we can do to try to smooth things over by getting her back for this Ghost King?”
Constantine shakes his head once more.
“Nope, he already went scorched earth on the mad scientist types and got the Ghost King’s daughter back. But he’s coming for Earth anyways because at this point if he brings it under his control, he can guarantee nothing like this happens ever again. Or so he was purported to have said.”
“And this Ghost King really controls the entirety of these… Infinite Realms? It seems a bit much to have a ruler for what goes on endlessly.”
“Nah, you’re right. He doesn’t rule everything. But he rules enough. His empire is easily a hundred times the size of the population of Earth.”
Silence falls for a long, pregnant moment after that as the preeminent heroes and heroines of Earth digest those words. They were used to sometimes dealing with unfavorable odds. Alien invasions tended to come with armies that outnumbered them all the time. But a hundred times the population of Earth… that was a lot.
“Do you think we could talk to him? Negotiate with him, maybe?”
Constantine grimaces at that but doesn’t immediately reject the idea. He tilts his head back and forth consideringly for a moment before sighing.
“… Maybe. There’s a ritual that would allow you to summon him with the right sacrifices. If done properly, he would be bound by the summoning to not attack us. Of course, he would also be able to leave at any time… you don’t just lock down someone as powerful as the Ghost King.”
Another pause until finally, Superman speaks up.
“Do it.”
John Constantine looks surprised for a moment… and then resigned as his shoulders slump.
“Oh. Yeah. Of course it would have to be me. Fuck my life.”
The other Founding Members of the Justice League don’t comment on his crass language. It was just who Constantine was at the end of the day. Instead, everyone watches, or if need be, helps as the man gets the things he needs together and begins the ritual.
The biggest thing that Constantine needs, as it turns out, is power. Vitality, specifically. That’s the sacrifice that they have to offer up to properly attract the Ghost King. Luckily there’s a whole lot of vitality in this room. Superman by himself is apparently meant to be enough, so he hooks himself into the ritual and lets Constantine drain him for a bit. It shouldn’t be too bad, or so the occultist says… until Superman begins to grow paler and paler and Constantine blanches.
“Shit! For some reason it’s not enough! We need another sacrifice!”
Before anyone can say or do anything, Wonder Woman steps up and inserts herself into the ritual.
“Draw from me then.”
Constantine doesn’t hesitate to do so… and after a moment, he chuckles.
“This is working actually… this is working surprisingly well. Something about having a powerful man and a powerful woma- incoming!”
Everyone tenses up as a blinding bright flash fills the summoning circle for a moment. It worked, apparently, but that doesn’t mean they can relax. Of course, when the light fades… embarrassment and awkwardness fills the room as they all find out WHY having a male and female ‘sacrifice’ worked so well.
There, in the center of the circle, is not just the Ghost King… but also from the look of things, the Ghost Queen too. And they’re uh… naked. And copulating.
Looking up at all of them, the Ghost King has a severe, imposing, and altogether intimidating expression on his face as he regards them from his position on top of his queen. He’s at least as built as Superman or Batman in bod type, but with glowing white hair, green eyes, and a body that positively exudes unnatural power.
Rising to his feet, the Ghost King gives them all a good look at what he’s working with for a moment before waving a hand and cladding himself in ostentatious, appropriately kingly attire. Likewise, his Queen rises as well and does the same. Except, after getting a solid second look at the Ghost Queen, it turns out the surprises don’t end there.
“… Cassandra?”
There isn’t much in this world that can shock Batman badly enough to inadvertently blow a secret. But well, here they are. Cassandra Cain is apparently the Ghost Queen, shacking up with the Ghost King. She’d left Gotham and her life as a vigilante behind years ago, vanishing without much of a trace. But she’d also left enough evidence that it was of her own volition and choice that nobody had truly tried to track her down. Well, some had… but they’d failed.
Probably because she was in a whole other world.
“The Justice League. Summoning me and my Queen mid-coitus. What’s this about then?”
Cassandra is as silent as ever, but her husband is happy to speak up. The Ghost King narrows his eyes at all of them, crossing his arms over his chest as his Queen moves to his side in a quiet show of solidarity and support.
With Superman and Wonder Woman both somewhat drained by the summoning ritual, and Batman somewhat disarmed by Cassandra’s presence… it unfortunately falls to John Constantine to speak up, because the rest of the League Members would wait for one of the Big Three to take charge.
“It’s about the whole invasion of Earth thing you’re planning. They want to ask if you’ll reconsider.”
The Ghost King snorts derisively at that.
“And do they ask that of me knowing what was done to my daughter?”
Pulling out a cigarette and lighting it, Constantine shrugs as he takes a long drag before answering.
“Yep.”
“I see.”
Finally, Superman manages to get enough strength back to speak.
“Your Majesty… we understand that you have grievances against people here on Earth. But surely trying to conquer our world is not the answer. We can make things right here on our end if you just give us a chance.”
The Ghost King is quiet for a brief time at that, before tilting his head to the side.
“Can you now?”
Wonder Woman steps up next to Superman, backing him up with a nod.
“Yes. We can.”
Sharing a glance with his Queen, the Ghost King pauses for a moment… before snorting in amusement.
“Very well. I accept your promise and will hold you to your word. Good luck.”
Before anyone on the Justice League can react, the Ghost King is gone… taking his Queen with him. Batman lets out an uncharacteristic abortive noise, reaching out to where Cassandra was mere moments ago… but its too late. Meanwhile, everyone else just looks at each other in confusion for a moment until The Flash shrugs.
“Well… that was easy?”
Constantine on the other hand, just laughs.
“Easy? Sure, if you mean it was easy for him to play you all for fools.”
Eyes turn towards him, narrowed.
“What exactly does that mean, John?”
Huffing, Constantine shakes his head.
“You just promised to make things right on your end. And he said he’ll hold you to that. That means one of two things… actually, it means both things probably. Number One, he’ll likely expect all illegal and amoral experimentation on humans and near-humans to stop across the entirety of Earth in short order.”
That causes some alarm to spread across their faces. Not that any of them didn’t also want that, but… it was a tall order.
“Oh, and you know those incompetent Ghost Hunters who captured the Ghost Princess in the first place? Yeah… so those are the Ghost King’s parents, who he cut ties with ages ago. Now, I don’t know if he loves them or hates them, but he hasn’t killed them yet… so good luck threading THAT needle as well in finding a way to deal with them that he’s willing to accept.”
Slowly, surely, the weight of the deal they’ve just made falls upon their shoulders. All of them are brave men and women, so that weight does not cause their backs to bow or their resolve to falter. However… there’s no denying the heaviness of it all the same. They might not have made a deal with the Devil… but damn if it didn’t feel like it.

“Now… where were we?”
Danny’s husky voice is followed by him and Cass falling back into bed together and picking up right where they left off. Namely, him fucking her deeply and passionately while the mute woman he’d married clung to him with all four limbs and bit his shoulder hard enough to leave marks.
As he fucks his gorgeous Queen, Danny reflects on what just happened for a brief moment. The Justice League were heroes even back when he was younger. And he respected them, really he did. But damn if they were easy to trick. Either they would somehow succeed at the impossible pair of tasks he’d given them… or Danny would have carte blanche to take over Earth anyways.
Not that he wanted to take over Earth. There was a reason he had left that planet behind. They’d never appreciated him when he was younger and while a few good things had come of the place, like his last visit leading to him meeting and falling in love with Cass, ultimately… he was happier putting it in the past.
Alas, his and Cass’ daughter did not feel the same way. Dani Phantom (because like hell was Danny keeping the name Fenton after everything) had a peculiar fascination for Earth that had gotten her in trouble more than a few times. Hopefully this latest experience would kill that fascination, but Danny would have preferred it never happened at all.
Still, Dani and Cass had both already begged him not to invade and conquer Earth over what had happened. In fact, half the reason Danny had been in bed with his wife having sex when they’d both been summoned to Earth had been because Cassandra had taken to using her amazing body to distract him from his plans.
Well, thanks to the Justice League, the two most important women in his life would get their wish now. He’d stop the mobilization of the Infinite Realms and he would let the League try their hand at solving the problems before them. He knew, agreement as ‘written’, that they would fail to actually truly completely accomplish what he’d set before them.
Still, if they did a good enough job, he’d maybe let it go. If they didn’t satisfy him though with their efforts, then the conquest was back on. For now though, Cassandra is clearly happy with his decision and Danny isn’t above taking advantage of that fact to have some seriously rough, but also seriously lovey-dovey sex with his beautiful wife.
PLAP! PLAP! PLAP!
Fucking her hard and fast, the Ghost King groans out as her inner walls tightly flex and clench around his cock, all the way to completion. Even being interrupted by Earth’s mightiest heroes and heroines wasn’t enough to ruin their fun at the end of the day. That said…
As they finish up, both reaching a mutual orgasm at the same time and enjoying the heights of pleasurable bliss for a moment, Danny has to smile ruefully. And after he pulls back and flops over onto his side on the bed, he can’t help but look at Cassandra and speak his mind.
“You should reach out and talk to him. Let him know he didn’t fail you.”
Cassandra freezes but doesn’t look away from him, even as Danny shrugs.
“You and I both know there’s a lot worse out there in terms of parental figures. Batman… maybe he wasn’t the best, but he tried. And seeing you today… it’s obvious he’s never gotten over your disappearance.”
For a long moment, his Queen remains still. But then, finally, she nods before cuddling into his chest. Danny happily pulls Cass close, hugging her as they spoon with one another.
This would be his good deed for the year, Danny figured. Not only showing remarkable restraint and calling off the invasion of Earth but also prodding Cass into reaching out to the best father figure she’d ever had.
Batman better be grateful, honestly.

Hmm...gotta join the mob and lament that you gave us far more than we asked for but not enough to really flesh out the prompt. But fair is fair...you've been clear these poll winners are 2500 words only, so being conscious of how "big" our prompt ideas are is something that we need to practice lest we get hooked on a rare dish 😉

2025-01-18 08:52:05 +0000 UTCAlso feels like an actual story he could've wrote with 40+ chapters. Kind of neat if instead of starting with an origin or "beginning", it starts at thr "epilogue" lol.

2025-01-18 03:36:23 +0000 UTCNot bad, but this feels more like a part 2. It is the prompts fault, and your readers for voting for it (something I admit to being guilty of doing). Really wouldn't mind seeing a prologue prompt detailing how Danny and Cass meet, as well as why she left Batman behind.

2025-01-18 03:29:52 +0000 UTCI'm going to have to say that this does feel like something that needed more build up prior to this exact chapter.

2025-01-17 18:30:43 +0000 UTCNope lol, it would have a Pt. 2 on it if it was. This is standalone. This is what happens when someone wants to submit a plot-heavy prompt to the prompt polls and you guys vote for it. Poll Winners are only 2500 words, so what you see is what you get.
