Eldritch Whore, or...?

I was thinking about the old Call of Cthulhu roleplaying game my old game group used to play. The first couple of cases always involved a lot of "What?? Where?? I'm terrified of the evil that exists in the dark places of the world! O' the horror!" After a while it was more like, "Things are starting to get creepy. Should we get the box of dynamite out of the trunk yet? I know we just got here, but at what point will it be appropriate to burn this place down?"
Fun times. Classic game.

Totally! Life got busy and we kind of wound down to just occasional card or board games, and then to no games. But we're hoping to find a new gaming group after we move. ^_^
