Happy Lent right back to U. At least, there's no Merry Crucifixion greeting. Meanwhile........... the reflection looks so awesome, that the idea of the mirrored ceiling No-Tell Motel room is what came to my mind. Since I have no concept of the degree of difficulty, I'll stay over here, be quiet, and not distract the artist.

Happy Lent (though that may be a contradiction in terms)! I see what you mean about the background. I think it's partially because the lighting is too uniform, so the background is well-lit, and the wall is white. I almost always include a bit of "clutter" in people's rooms - some things that inform the viewer a little about the character, and also some of the regular detritus of life to make the spaces look lived in and realistic, but... it's also a balancing act to keep from drawing attention away from the character/s (though I secretly kind of like it if some little detail catches the viewer's attention and makes them go "huh" ... or "hmm" or some other interjection - feel free to interject whatever you prefer). ^_^''

Happy Groundhog Day's Eve!! Another outstanding work. EXCELLENT reflection detail, plaid shirt, and environmental detail. The background is a bit "busy", which detracts from the character, I think. The mirror theme is worth exploring more though.
