She's worried because she's very shy and innocent while the dark angel is so aggressive and sexual. But remember, they're both angels (the dark angel is not a demon), so they're both servants of the same goddess. Kind of like... cousins? ^_^'''

Awww what a cute couple ^^ I love how the light angel's face looks so natural and casual. It's a nice contrast with the more "made-up" bimbo face of her dark counterpart. And that shiny effect on the boots is really well done. Now that I mention it, what material are those boots made of? Látex? Vynil? Also, just curiosity: what is the light angel thinking? She seems to be happy and worried at the same time.

Hey there Ms. Galaxy, I don't post here much so bear with me. Having a project of any type commented on in a picky manner hurts. If it didn't, there would be no shrinks and psych-drugs. Your work is treasure. It's Art I could never do. Feelings suck till the meds kick in.

I understand that everyone was trying to be helpful and no one meant any harm. But that was not a Work-In-Progress, it was a finished promo. The designs for that scene are not going to change because the scene is already partway done, and I've been proud of it so far. Delphine's overall look has been set since SFK:Pirate Amnesty four years ago so if you wanted her to look totally different you kind of missed the boat. When I redesign a character I have to keep their essentials intact or no one will know who they are (and I'm very pleased with her new pants - she's actually quite a bit more covered up than last time she appeared but she still looks like herself). Usually when I post a piece of art it's because I'm pleased with it and I'm proud of it and I've done the best I can on it (and it's done, unless I've said otherwise), and because I think people will like it - not because I want to hear everything people don't like about it and hardly a single kind word about it. I'm not trying to censor anyone's freedom of speech or something, but when the overwhelming response is only focusing on everything I did wrong it's really disheartening, especially when this is the first proper SFK work I've done in a while. If I hear 50 nice things and 1 negative thing, that negative thing will stick with me for a year - and if it's ultimately a constructive suggestion I'll probably take it to heart over time. But if I hear 1 nice thing and 50 negative things, it's kind of rough on me and makes it hard to be proud of my work at all - especially when I did my best. Of course, if you were expecting a strong, emotionally healthy person with good coping skills... I'm sorry to disappoint. >_< No one was mean, no one was being malicious or trying to hurt my feelings, I know. I wasn't being bullied, and I didn't decline any patrons or call anyone out by name for being an asshole or something because that's not what was happening. I just said "if we could not jump all over every flaw of the first important piece of work I've done in a long time it would really help me out a lot" - because it would really help me out a lot. Really!

Hey Pink, I don't think you should take what was obviously just constructive criticism as a personal offence. The image wasn't bad at all! I even said how much I liked the magistrate in it, and how I didn't notice the details Kimoko pointed out. But what use is the comment section if all we can say is 'Wow! Beautiful! Hmmmm!'. Not much, imho. Constructive criticism is a healthy part of the creation process. And sharing WIPs you are bound to get some once in a while. I really love your art, that's why I'm supporting you. Not because I want to take you down. (And btw, I really like what you did with the angels as well. )

The characters' personalities are always the most important thing to me, and I try to convey as much as possible through their facial expressions and body language, so I'm glad it all comes out. As for more quad HD stuff, my screen is only 1080p so that's about as high as I ever go. Usually I render things at their final size unless I know I'll need to clean up some details in Photoshop - then I start with a larger render, which takes exponentially longer to render. >_<

That's a good idea! I'll have to use that in some bonus artwork sometime. ^_^

Aww, the Dark Angel just wants to be loved. :) The outfits these two are wearing are great. The Light Angel looks very traditional, while the Dark Angel is channeling Angel Without a Cause, and it matches what I imagine their personalities are perfectly. Good facial expressions as well, with Dark's facing showing a "Come on, you love me, right? How could you not love this innocent face" and Light's face showing "Um, piggyback ride, ok, sure. But please, please, PLEASE tell me that thing poking me in the back is one of your accessories." 1440 is nice by the way. Feel free to forget to shrink down any other images.

I picture those two angels sitting on your shoulder while you work, with the blonde one suggesting all the sweet beauties that grace your work, and then the lilac one whispering: "And just imagine what The Magistrate might do to them" ;-) As always, a pleasure to behold.

I'm another person that does not comment much but I always look forward to your posts. I don't remember the last wallpaper that you are referring to but I can't say I recall ever seeing anything was not awesome. That being said, this image is simply gorgeous. The subtly in the expressions, the intricate detail in the halo, the feathers of the wings, the shading all help make the image stand out.

Aww. I'm really sorry for being so critical :( It was only small details; the whole scene was pretty cool. But I guess I went too far. My apologies. I'll try to do better from now on :) The scene with these two in SFK3 was really nice. I'm glad to see they've become good friends ^_^
