Added 2021-12-13 21:36:26 +0000 UTCMost of you longtime fans know I have a mentor type relationship with AljuneArt, a friend of mine, and after having paused it for some time I'm back to working and teaching him to be a better artist so we can get more consistent art from him once he develops more.
Recently, I bought him the 3D modeling program I use for art, DesignDoll, and it's helping him churn out more practice than ever before.
He has a tendency to draw very similar faces and expressions, so I gave him an assload of references and tasked him with breaking out of his comfort zone. I didn't do any corrections on these since that wasn't the point. For the purpose of this exercise, I am quite pleased with his results!
