Hi all!

To set the scene:  You have always been a huge vampire movie / TV show fan, and amazingly enough, a local vampire girl has fallen in love with you! Long before she showed up at your door and introduced herself, she had been following you - and protecting you from bad guys, werewolves, and other (less sweet) vamps who only saw you as a tasty snack. A few months ago, she took you to a Halloween party in the yard of this nerdy kid's mansion down the road from your house. When you both went inside to use the bathroom, you heard screams coming from the basement. You two tried to find the nerd who owned the house to ask them why someone was screaming bloody murder in their basement, but it was impossible to find him in the big crowd. Then the party came to an abrupt halt when all the sprinklers in the yard went off and soaked all the party goers and their costumes. It's been a few months and you've mostly forgotten about it, but your vampire girlfriend has not. Her main objective is to keep you safe - so someone screaming, and possibly trapped in a basement down the street from you, is not okay. She has been skulking around the mansion ever since to see if she can find out what was going on. Tonight she has news.
