Sir Pimpington Character Design

Whenever I edit his earlier chapters, I'll have to add in descriptions of his over the top rose aesthetic. He did not have a rose theme until I was plotting out the Pimpfort and included a lot of rose bushes in the floor plans, until it got time to write the chapters and I ended up making him the sword, too.

The problem is as an artist, I work visually. I tend to describe characters vaguely if I haven't gotten around to drawing them yet, which if you look back you'll notice I never specified the color of his clothes, coat, hat, etc.

I only mentioned things I knew his design would have. Big crown on his pimp hat, a curled mustache, a huge coat, etc. But my character design process is so intensive, especially with detailed outfits like this. Pimpington was a horrible character to pick as the first one to design after literal weeks of not drawing lol. Hopefully for future characters I'll make the time to draw them ahead of their debut, like I do with all of the main girls.

That being said if you do want me to have more time to design characters and such, pay me more lol. Right now I have little else I can do but write chapters as fast as possible to grow my following, so the more stable I am the more I can design chars and so on.

I think I'm happy with his design, but I tried so many things that I'm just self conscious over it.
