Upcoming MHFAP! Content, Arena Battle Comms

 Wanted to talk about some future content I'm planning. While the comic  isn't quite ready to come back yet, still waiting on my GF's  unemployment to have less pressure on me to provide for everything, you  guys know by now that since the release of the big lore document  detailing Port Glimmer and the Arena,  I've been making some costumes and content for my girls regarding the  Arena. If you've yet to read about the Arena, scroll to the bottom of  the lore document. It's the last topic.
 

But it's all leading to something! The Arena WILL eventually be a major  arc in the comic, but until then I'm going to introduce it as a new type  of commission. How it'll work is as follows.
 

1. Someone buys their MHFAP! OC a costume/arena bio (Tali's will be  posted shortly after this journal as an example), this makes them  eligible for Arena battle comms.
 

2. 2 (or more) MHFAP! OC owners can pay to set up a match which will be 2  different pieces of art. Alternatively instead of a match between 2 OC  owners, one OC owner can pay me full price for a match with Tali, Futura  or Rizl. Matches with Hero won't be full price, they'll be slightly  cheaper since he's easy to draw and all that but the main girls are all  detailed. The first piece shows a somewhat neutral fight between the  OCs.
 

3. I will then allow my Patrons to vote on who wins the battle AND allow  them to suggest how the winner sexually dominated the loser. After  enough time has passed, I'll move forward on the 2nd piece of art  depicting the victor dominating the loser!
 

The costume and arena bio combo is $50, but I have not determined what the price of matches will be yet.
 

Additionally there is going to be a future MHFAP! OC who I'm intending  on making the referee. We might have more than one of them, but for now  I'm planning the first Ref is a petite cockatoo harpy, since she could  fly to the ropes and roost there and commentate safely, and her crest  could fluff up when she's super surprised while commentating. I plan on  selling this ref at a MUCH higher price than usual OCs because she's  going to feature in all the Arena battles- meaning she comes with a  guarantee of a lot of future free art. I don't ever really sell MHFAP!  OCs with the promise of future free art so that's pretty unique. I am  thinking of selling her at a $150 price tag to account for all the  future free art.
 

You might be wondering why I'm focused on Arena stuff right now. It's  fun, and I'm feeling shitty these days. I want to work on stuff that  makes me happy and since I can't work on the comic right now since I  NEED to make money, I thought that moving ahead with Arena stuff and  setting up specialized comms for it would be fun and make me happy.
 

The comic is almost 3 years in and has been constantly derailed because  of how I don't make enough money to make it as fast as I want... I  thought we'd be like 30 chapters in by now and that we'd be in the Arena  arc already. We aren't. So I don't see a point in forcing myself to  wait so long for one of the ideas I am, and always have been, most  excited about. Plus with the voting, maybe I'll see an uptick in Patreon  support?
 

Anyway, I'm looking to get the main comic back as soon as monetarily I  can justify doing so. I am hoping for sometime this month, but we will  see. Feel free to contribute on Patreon if you'd like it to return faster obviously.
