Coming Soon to Dramatic Skys: Star Layering Fix and a New End Sky!
Added 2024-08-17 17:43:32 +0000 UTCHey guys! Wanted to share a little preview of the next update coming to Dramatic Skys. In this post is a short 10 second clip showing the before and after of a star layering fix that has been applied to a couple of skies. As you can see in the first half of the clip, due to the rotation of the skybox that has its own stars along with Minecraft's star layer, they don't rotate the same which can be a bit disorenting. This has been fixed on a couple skies and can be seen fixed in the second half of the clip! Thank you to UsernameGeri for the fix as well as the clip!
Additionally, a new End sky will be added in this update along with this fix!
I have been having fun making these End skies and this one is no exception! This time around I went for a red nebula based sky, not 100% sure which End biome it will be placed it just yet. I am thinking the midlands but I would like to hear your thoughts!
This new update will be out as early access for Emerald and up within the next few days! It will be ready down the line for gold and up as well. I hope you guys enjoyed this little preview for the next update! I plan to keep doing these periodically so you can see what I am working on specifically from time to time.
