Thank you, I'm glad you like her! She's one of my favorite designs among the OCs. It will work like that, yes. It will most likely be by age. I think you have it a bit mixed up, in folklore age determines how magically powerful they are. Every 100 years a kitsune gains a tail and her power increases, the two are connected! This particular Kitsune actually has a lot of complexes so she overcompensates by using her illusion magic to create an extra two tails to make herself seem stronger than she actually is lmao.
