Devlog 🏃

Rambling ahead! For progress, skip the first 3 paragraphs. 

I hate February, I really feel like lack of the 2-3 extra days. Early March kicked my ass, like every year, it seems. I had very little time for writing, but I spent a lot of time feeling guilty over it. I always feel like I write soooo damn slowly, even though I do realize that one IF is about 4-5 novels size-wise, but I don’t think the knowledge helps much. 🥴

Also, my graphic tablet decided that it only wants to work as a monitor now, but I already have one, why would I need two! Ugh. Apparently, the model of Huion I have does that, and it kicks the bucket after three years or so, but I am deluding myself by blaming it on the Windows update, because I read that for some people, that really is the case. 

It does make me mad regardless because I feel like I wasted all that cash for nothing, so now I’ll be using a much cheaper one, and it takes a while to get used to it (you have to look at the monitor, not the screen like I did with Huion). If you had a similar experience, do let me know. And if you’re thinking of getting a Huion, maybe reconsider the Kamvas ones. 

Anyways, progress:

- Chapter 4 of Avulsion is in Early Access right now (or in a second, depending on when you’re reading this devlog), it’ll be out on itch next month. I originally wanted to post a new Chapter 5 partial today as well, but I need one more day to add the extra choices, so it should be uploaded later this week instead.

- I am slowly finishing up the last FMO update, the smaller variables are the most time-consuming, but I hope it’ll be worth it when you replay with different choices etc. If you want to see how it all looks in Atom, here you go:
