Weekly devlog ✨

Sorry for the delay, had a busy week, but I managed to get a lot of stuff done, like revamping the chapters' cover illustrations (preview above) and polishing the notebook (unlocked in the next chapter). I also changed the file name (the numbers) to reflect the chapters and updates, so the newest looks as follows: 1.2.1 aka chapter 2, update 1. Hopefully, it's clearer now. I know it is for me.

As for the progress, the last scene of chapter 1 is finished, and we get to meet Victor in the flesh, or rather before he becomes nothing but flesh (heh). This one is shorter, about 14k words, consisting largely of MC customization, but we meet the ROs again. The next chapter will be the most fun to write - it's the dream sequence, yay! I think that's where the proper romance will start, seeing as you get to lock some of the ROs out of your play through in chapter 1. I am not sure yet, but the planning stage itself is exciting. It won't have you locked in a romance route just yet, but I think you'll have to decide whether you're interested in something more with the RO or no. 🤔 Decisions, decisions. 

Another thing, I've been in a terrible mood lately, and the situation around the world, the inflation, etc is not helping (I mean, duh). Still, I was craving something darker to write, since that's how I deal with stress. I can't relax, because it feels like I am wasting time, so I find myself writing a lot. I finally gave in and started writing a new project on the side, though I am not sure if I'll publish it at all, since my motivation to write it might dwindle and/or disappear. So, for now, please keep it hush-hush. If I end giving up on it, I'll have a (hopefully) interesting 'demo' for you to play. If I decide to continue, then I'll need to shelve Reprise for a while to keep the amount of projects to a minimum. Avulsion won't suffer because of it, though, since a)it's my main project, and b)I switch the side projects as the writer's block hits. I just decided to 'chase the inspiration as it comes'. There are just too many things I want to write, ugh, sorry about that.
