Weekly devlog - Android version

Android versions of the extended and public versions can be found in their respective folders. I have tested both myself and they do work, even the icon! 

Installation manual:

• Download the ‘apk’ file from the folder,
• Install - you need to allow/enable the installation of files from outside the google store,
• Because of the reasons mentioned above Play Protect will show you a notification, something along the lines of ‘do you want to install an application from outside of the store?’ If yes, click ‘yes’.

Once it installs you might get another similar message asking if you’d like to open an app from outside of the store and/or if you’d like to send it to them for scanning. Now, Ren’Py games notoriously show up as false positives, so I didn’t scan the app myself since I already scanned it on PC using 2 paid anti-viruses. You can send the file if you wish, but I can’t promise if you’ll be able to play it if they flag it as false positive. That said, with one of the latest Ren’Py updates it was said that Ren’Py should stop being flagged as false positive, but as I said, I can’t promise anything.

Now, as I said before, the phone version might be wonky (i.e. small buttons, etc) since it was always supposed to be a pc-only version. With my future projects, I will try to make separate versions for Android though.

If you still can't install, you might want to check this plugin: https://m.apkpure.com/ren-py-plugin-for-joiplay/cyou.joiplay.renpy I have not tested it myself as the apk worked for me.

As for iOS. Without a MAC device (and I don’t own one) I won’t be able to port the app. I might buy a cheap tablet in the future, but at the moment I can’t spend the cash needed, so please bear with me for a while. 

As for the progress, I am working on the IF's prologue this week, and I should be able to share it soon, in a couple of days. Other than that I have finished drafting the spicy scenes. I'll probably use a new file and a new GUI, but it should be easy to code.
