August Update!

Hey guys,

This month's build is gonna be delayed a bit!

Last month, rather than finishing up the player scaling interface, I decided to switch gears after finding a source of adult animations to use in the game. I paid $300 for a little over 100 sequences, most featuring two partners, making for a total of around 200 individual character animations, in around 12 different positions.

Unfortunately all of these animations came in a format which wasn't compatible with Unity, so I had to manually export every one of them to FBX, then convert all the files to humanoid within Unity, and then write a script to extract that humanoid animation to an .anim file which I can apply to any character in the game.

That work is done now, but I still need to set up animation controllers for each of the sequences and create some kinda menu system to allow you to choose which part of each sequence to play. But I don't need to get all of that working immediately to get some of this content into the game. I can just select a set of animations and play them on specific characters, which is what I'll do initially.

I also found a source last month for some adult voice work which I can potentially use, but that will come a bit later. I may eventually hire some folks to do fully custom voice acting, but I'm not quite at that point yet.

Oh, and I think I forgot to mention it in a previous update, but I recently came across and purchased a penetration system, which will handle lining up the bits and animating the blend shapes and such. That's gonna require quite a bit of setup though, so I don't know yet exactly how soon I'll get that in, but I'll be looking into it once I get some of the animations up and running in the game, to see if I can at least get a basic implementation going.

Anyway, that's all for now. I just wanted to let you know what's going on and that very soon I'll be adding more avatars as promised, with animation!

I'm pretty sure that's impossible. Scaling a camera rig in Unity should not affect a different camera in another app, in a completely different engine. It's not adjusting anything in SteamVR itself as far as I know. And if it is... It's not something I have any control over. Perhaps you used OVR Advanced Settings playspace mover and forgot?

Also, I dunno why but after I left the app it made my camera view stick at macro height for every other app I opened lol

The vore stuff is only in the idea stage at the moment. I've got a lot of stuff to implement before I get to that, like adding these new animations, scene selection, avatar selection, setting up the penetration system, finishing up the size change stuff, writing a script to automatically set up dynamic bone colliders, and coming up with a way to allow you to advance through the different animation sequences. Also gotta add audio at some point, and cum simulation. Not all of these need to be implemented before I do any vore stuff, but many of them do. And once I have that stuff done, I'll probably first implement some macro animations like lifting their feet because those are easy to do, whereas lifting the player up will require a bit of scripting. And while dropping them, into the mouth would be no more difficult, to make the physics of that work well I'll have to come up with a way to detect the player is in there and parent the player to the head while they're in there, or else it's gonna be really janky if you're in there and their head is moving around a lot. Enabling the interior of the mouth to darken as the character closes their mouth will also be a challenge, but I think I can implement that by animating the material's ambient occlusion slot with a texture that's black where the mouth interior is. And then if I want the avatars to be able to swallow the player. well, then I need to model internals, and do more audio design, and figure out how to make the audio outside muffled, etc etc. In short, I don't know exactly how long it's going to take to get to the point where I can implement proper vore content, but you can of course shrink yourself down and teleport into the mouth. That much works right now, at least!

Always enjoy getting these updates from you. What is the state of vore stuff? I'm hoping there's gonna be one where a big wolf boy picks you up, licks all over you, and gobbles you up.
