Update + Monologue (June 2023)

Six months has passed since the last update and I felt the need to do a little monologue and update for you.
First and foremost, I have seldom expressed my concerns publicly on social media platforms, despite their purpose of facilitating the exchange of ideas and addressing concerns. However, this time, I have decided to leave my message intact for all to see.
Let's begin by discussing the roadmap I had set for myself before 2023. I am pleased to inform you that I have accomplished two out of the four goals I had set. In January, I acquired a "new" GPU which has greatly expanded my capabilities in various programs, including Daz3D. This acquisition has enabled me to enhance my skills and knowledge in this area. Additionally, I invested in a new SSD for my animation projects, resulting in significantly improved efficiency during post-processing work. The remaining goals are still being considered, and I am carefully evaluating the best approach to achieve them.
As you may know, I do own a website where all the information about my animations is stored, including galleries and commission details. Initially, I had plans to purchase a plan for the website and transform it into a comprehensive portfolio showcasing my work. However, I encountered a minor setback. The costs associated with maintaining the current website exceeded my expectations. Thankfully, I recalled the creators I used to follow before the era of Tumblr and decided to migrate to Blogger. You may wonder why I chose a blogging service instead of the current website creation platform. The answer is simple: it offers a more cost-efficient solution. I only need to obtain a domain, which can be easily renewed annually, and the hosting is provided for free. Furthermore, this transition will allow me to organize and post my animations in a more structured manner, creating an archive sorted by date. While my new website is still a work in progress, I will also need to upload my works on Itaku. It may be a tedious task, but once I complete this mass posting, I will find solace in knowing it's done.
This concludes the update for this project. I would like to express my gratitude to all of my Patreons for their tremendous support over the past months. I hope that my animations continue to bring you great joy, as they do for me while creating them.
On another note, I would like to address some of the feedback I received through the exit surveys upon removing pledges. Some of you provided additional notes that were incredibly helpful in shaping my mindset. Among the responses, there were inquiries regarding my posting frequency. As stated in the "About" section, my posting activity depends on my real-life commitments, as this is not my full-time occupation. However, I strive to remain active by posting at least two animations per month, in addition to bonus image sets for "Imperators." To prevent creative exhaustion and burnout, I always work ahead, preparing scenes, models, and lighting well in advance. This way, when I have the time, I return to them with prepared notes to animate. I would like to emphasize that this entire process, excluding the conversion of extra models, consumes approximately 25 hours, with an additional 5 hours dedicated to modeling. Although it is a time-consuming activity, I do not harbor any resentment towards it. I thoroughly enjoy materializing the ideas in my mind and presenting them for both your pleasure and mine.
Lastly, I have received inquiries about commissions. After a small interruption following the Patreon Requests, I temporarily halted taking commissions. However, in the future, when I have more time available, I might consider opening a special tier on Patreon exclusively for commissioned works. This would allow me to fulfill your commission requests.
I believe I have covered everything that has been on my mind lately regarding the art I create. I will continue my efforts to provide you with more content and strive for improvement.
