Added 2024-08-15 23:12:38 +0000 UTCSo as anyone that saw my previous post knows, come November all pledges through the IOS app are going to be subject to a 30% fee straight into apples pockets. Honestly I’m so disgusted by this on principle that I would like to ask anyone who is able to please switch to using the browser version of patreon (if you’re not using ios you get a massive W over apple plebeians, I know yall will be happy about that)
I really do not want to up the prices on any of this stuff especially since it’s even more money of yours going past me and to a corporation, so between switching to the browser and users not on apple I’m hoping it won’t be too bad and I can tank it. Unfortunately I am moving very soon because of the insane mold problem in my current apartment so my cost of living is going to increase significantly, but honestly if it means sticking it to apple I’m willing to try 🥴

2024-08-15 23:21:43 +0000 UTCI literally just switched to iPhone istg. Also, if your moving and cost of living is going up have you considered adding a middle tier between $5 and $50? Personally, I’m doing pretty well rn so I’d be happy to give a little more to help with not having a mold ridden apartment, but the jump from $5/month to $50/month is pretty significant. I can only speak for myself but if you had a $10 tier I would gladly jump to that, even for no extra content. Gotta pay it forward ya know
