COVID-19 and Patreon

First of all, I hope all of you and your loved ones are safe. I'm in one of the most COVID-19 hit areas in Northern Italy, but luckily I haven't been directly affected much so far. I just miss long walks outside, Spring is my favorite season and it sucks not being able to go outside other than for grocery essentials every 10 days or so. But mostly I miss my mom who lives alone in another city. We talk almost daily on the phone, but I wish she had stayed with me rather than going back to her hometown when the crisis started.
Anyway, this little personal intro is just to say I've decided to keep Patreon billing paused until the COVID-19 emergency is going on. It will be easier for me to fully focus on commissions (my current main source of income) and it won't add to the list of expenses people are already facing in these hard times. The Patreon page will of course stay open, so you can join and look at all the high-resolution art that I've posted there in the last couple years (just remember that the moment you sign up, you will be immediately charged once, even if the monthly billing is paused)!

I was a little concerned reading I will admit but very relieved you are safe and glad you are following the rules, you do not deserve to be struck with illness and hope things calm down soon. I'm happy to know you're still receiving income on art, mostly through your commissions and as long as you are happy to keep the payments paused I personally just want you safe and happy and am happy to keep paying as I know you are busy with comms and personal life.
