Polls and sketches
Added 2019-03-19 17:05:13 +0000 UTCToday I have a new question for my Patrons, to hopefully make this experience even better for you all!
As you all know, I currently have a couple polls every month to decide subjects for future artworks, in which I list a few different ideas and the one that gets the most votes is drawn.
I am however thinking about changing this system; instead of simply having a list with no images attached, I'd make a few sketches first, and then let Patrons decide which ones to complete into a full colored picture.
What do you think of this idea?

alright, thanks! will probably have some polls in the old style with just themes listed, and some will have sketches to choose from.

But at the same time, I already DO make sketches for Patreon in addition to the refined pieces, and some of those have for some reason become fan-favorites more than the fully finished pieces. So sometimes I think it'd be nice to give those sketches a further chance!

2019-03-19 17:41:55 +0000 UTCUhm depending on how many options polls have and how much time sketching takes, I feel that everyone is better served if only the winners get their due attention. Sure this seems more fun for us, the patrons, but every month you will have to spend time on sketches that will be inevitably left out, time that can be spent to work on the winner/winners. I know artists who sketch in 10 minutes and artists who sketch in an hour or more(They are, of course, more detailed, but they refuse to offer less). So depending on which category you belong to, you'll end up with dozens of unused sketches by the end of the year and it adds up :P
