Chapter 5: Long Live The Queen

Asgard [Throne Room]

Loki declared, "Thanos, the mad Titan, is a powerful warlord from space who devastates worlds in his quest for the Infinity Stones. I’m not sure what his ultimate goal is, but it can’t be anything good." He glanced at Naruto and Hela to see if his words were having any impact, but to his dismay, they didn't seem to react. Undeterred, he continued, "The main point is that we shouldn’t be squabbling among ourselves; we need to come together against a common foe. With the space stone now in your possession, Thanos is bound to come to Asgard, especially now that Odin is gone and Asgard is in a vulnerable state."

"I couldn't give a damn about this so-called mad titan! What really matters is that you bow down before me, your queen, or face the consequences!" Hela snapped, completely brushing off Loki's words. "I won't listen to a single thing until that happens! So make your choice right now: either recognize me as your queen and pledge your loyalty, or prepare to meet your end here and now!"

"I won't be doing anything of the sort," Thor shouted at Loki in frustration, wishing the fool would have the sense to hold his tongue until all discussions had completely fallen apart. "You can't become queen of Asgard; you're a killer, a warmonger, and frankly, the absolute worst."

Naruto found it amusing that Thor, the god of thunder, seemed oblivious to the fact that Hela would easily defeat him in a fight. Without a means to weaken her, such as the destruction of Asgard, Thor stood no chance of winning.

“So, you believe you could govern better than I can?” Hela inquired, her voice sharp. However, the good mood from her recent night of intimacy kept her from lashing out at Thor just yet. “Someone as foolish as you? I doubt it.”

"Not at all, I don't deserve to be king either," Thor said, catching everyone off guard. They had assumed he would desire the throne, but it turned out he didn't. "Asgard deserves someone better than both you and me."

Loki let out a sigh, wishing his brother would be quiet at that moment. He glanced at Hela, who appeared composed, but he could sense that she was just moments away from standing up and taking Thor down.

“Submit to me or face death,” Hela declared, rising to her feet as her armor materialized around her, preparing for combat. Thor mirrored her actions, gathering his own power.

Loki stepped aside from Thor, aware that his presence would be beneficial to his brother in the battle against Hela. Meanwhile, the Hulk had remained uninvolved, considering the situation none of his concern, but he couldn't help but smirk at the prospect of confronting Hela, eager to prove his strength. However, before he could act, Naruto utilized the space stone to create a portal beneath him, causing the Hulk to fall through and land at the far end of Asgard.

Thor rushed towards Hela, who cast a glance at Naruto as if warning him to keep out of her fight. The reincarnated shinobi merely rolled his eyes and stepped aside, observing as the two siblings clashed.

"Your brother is certainly persistent, though it's quite foolish of him to engage in a fight he cannot win," Naruto said as he approached Loki, while Hela and Thor had already departed the wrecked room amidst their clash of swords and lightning.

"Yes, he behaves that way," Loki replied casually while brainstorming a way to escape this situation. "And what about you? Is there something you desire?"

"I desire something, but I can acquire the Infinity Stones by myself," Naruto declared, gazing up at the sky as lightning flashed, certain it had struck Hela, though he didn't believe it would defeat her. "However, you need to understand that Hela won't allow you or your brother to claim the throne. You'll have to eliminate her first, and that's something you won't be able to achieve."

Thor opposed Hela's claim to the throne because he was concerned that her rule would lead to aggressive conflicts with other realms. He worried that she would not only mistreat the citizens of Asgard but also bring death and destruction to their enemies.

"How about we consider a compromise?" Loki suggested, formulating his response. "We can recognize Hela as the queen of Asgard on the condition that she promises to treat the Asgardians fairly and refrain from engaging in unnecessary wars for the sake of power and domination."

"For Asgard!" Thor shouted from outside, much to Loki's irritation. It was hard to believe how foolish his brother could be; thankfully, they weren't connected by blood.

"I’m all ears," Naruto remarked, lounging on the throne without a care for what Hela or anyone else thought or might do.

Valkyrie stood beside him like a devoted royal sentinel, while Loki observed the unfolding situation and came to an important realization: it was Naruto, not Hela, who held the power over their destinies.

Loki inquired, "So Hela wants to be the queen of Asgard, correct?" Naruto nodded in response. Loki continued, "The Asgardians won't willingly accept her if she simply seizes the throne through violence. She'd have to eliminate everyone, and I doubt she desires to govern a land filled with corpses, even if she is the goddess of death."

Naruto contemplated Loki's statement, recognizing the truth in it. Asgardians were indeed tenacious, willing to battle Hela until the very last warrior fell, which would result in a landscape filled with lifeless bodies and vulnerable civilians who would be compelled to follow his wife out of fear. Hela, in all likelihood, would simply eliminate the helpless civilians for their lack of worth.

"You don't seem like the kind of person who wants to destroy the world without cause," Loki said, taking a moment to let his words resonate. "However, if Thor and I support you along with Hela, many Asgardians might be willing to give her a shot at showing she can be a worthy queen."

Naruto glanced to the side, sensing Hela being beaten by Thor. He understood what needed to be done, as one choice would lead to death while the other opened up new opportunities.

"Alright, but in return for accepting your deal, you need to assist me in collecting the infinity stones," Naruto responded. He then utilized the space stone to transport Thor and Hela back. "I need to find something that can harness the power of this infinity stone, like a gauntlet or a dagger."

Hela and Thor materialized once again in the shattered throne room, with the goddess of death perched above Thor, who was delivering a punch to his face. Naruto, Valkyrie, and Loki watched the spectacle with a sense of amusement.

"You can quit giving your brother a hard time, sweetheart; we're going to team up now," Naruto announced, causing Hela to pause and Thor, who was in pain and possibly concussed, to look at him with a puzzled expression.

"What!" Hela shouted, clearly displeased. "You make deals without my knowledge? Just so you know, I won't consent to anything unless they acknowledge me as queen."

"There's no need to be concerned; they consented to that," Naruto said, causing Thor to glance at his brother Loki with a look of betrayal. "In return, they will acknowledge you as queen as long as you cease the pointless killing and domination. They'll even assist me in locating the infinity stones."

"But we can't allow her to become queen; Asgard will face ruin," Thor weakly argued, but Loki shot him a look that suggested he was speaking to a child.

"Asgard will be okay, brother. It withstood both Odin and me, and now it will simply have a different leader. But consider this: what can you actually do to prevent our sister from taking control?" Loki said with a hint of sarcasm. "The answer is nothing. If you engage in battle, you’ll end up dead for no reason, and Asgard will remain in her grasp. So, try using your brain instead of your brawn for a change."

Thor aimed to refute Loki's assertion, asserting that he could prevail even as he rose to his feet. Hela had already gotten off him and was attentively listening to the conversation, joined by Naruto and Valkyrie, who were also paying close attention.

The god of thunder, with his remaining eye, observed Loki and noticed genuine concern reflected in his gaze. This caused Thor to hesitate; did he really appear that wretched? It was a possibility, he considered, as he glanced down at his torn garments and the blood he recognized as his own.

"Alright, but Hela must promise not to take lives on a whim and stop her ambitions to dominate the realms," Thor declared resolutely, prepared to fight until his last breath if she disagreed.

"Agreed," Naruto replied before Hela had a chance to respond, earning a sharp look from the goddess. "Trust me, this is for the best," he continued, meeting her gaze. "This way, you can become the queen of Asgard without any more battles."

Hela locked eyes with Naruto, creating an atmosphere thick with tension. The blonde god stood his ground, and it felt as though they were engaged in a wordless debate. To everyone's astonishment, it was Hela who eventually averted her gaze, her shoulders drooping in resignation.

Fast Forward

"I understand that the situation isn’t ideal, especially considering everything that has transpired," Thor remarked, attempting to downplay the reality of his sister's actions against many Asgardians. "However, we must focus on what lies ahead rather than dwell on the past. Loki and I believe that Hela, being my father's firstborn, is the most suitable leader for Asgard."

Thor gazed at the Asgardians who had previously escaped on the ships, but Naruto tapped into his power to locate their position in space and utilized the infinity stone to return them, much to their shock.

Heimdall squinted at Thor, choosing to keep his thoughts to himself, aware that speaking out could lead to the deaths of himself and many others present. He glanced at Hela before shifting his focus to Naruto, the true danger.

Loki started to manipulate his words to persuade the other Asgardians to support Hela, but Heimdall remained focused on Naruto, the god of destruction. To defeat Hela, the key is either to seal her away or to destroy Asgard, which is the source of her power, thereby weakening her enough for her to be vanquished. However, Naruto presents an entirely different challenge.

Heimdall witnessed the moment when Odin exiled Naruto, which significantly depleted the All-Father's strength. Following this, Odin sealed Hela, resulting in his need to enter a state of Odin Sleep.

Naruto embodies chaos and draws strength from the destructive energies present in the universe, which grants him limitless power. Consequently, any seals placed upon him will be broken almost instantly.

"Perhaps this is for the greater good," Heimdall reflected. If a battle were to ensue with the god of destruction and the goddess of death, Asgard and everything within it would be doomed. "What a disaster you've created, All-Father," he sighed.

The crowd appeared to be confused about their next steps, prompting Heimdall to take action. He determined that, for the sake of Asgard's future, he would make a decision that would ensure its preservation, at least until a solution could be found.

"All hail Queen Hela ruler of Asgard," Heimdall shouted making the people around him look to him, he repeated what he said soon others join him and soon everyone was chanting Hela name even though there was uncertainty in their hearts but survival came first.

Naruto watched it all as Hela got a genuine smile when she was accepted for who she was as the Queen of Asgard. Now came the hard part: explaining his and Valkyrie's relationship without losing a body part in exchange.

Fast Forward

Asgard [Master Bedroom]

"What did you want to discuss?" Hela, unclothed, inquired from her position on the bed, resting her head on Naruto's bare chest as they relaxed under the covers.

Naruto chose to openly share information that he knew would likely make his wife pursue him in an attempt to harm him.

“Valkyrie is my concubine,” Naruto responded, feeling a surge of tension as he noticed Hela sitting up and gazing at him with a blank look. “After I was exiled, I made several attempts to return to Asgard, but each time, Odin’s magic pushed me back. Eventually, I lost hope and fell into a deep sadness until I met Valkyrie. She was the one who helped me keep my sanity throughout those years.”

"Are you seriously telling me that you love her more than me?" Hela shot back, her expression ice-cold. "Was I really that forgettable that you’d trade me in for one of those pathetic fools who helped trap me?!"

“Listen, I’m being honest about everything so we can concentrate on what really matters,” Naruto stated, sitting up and locking eyes with Hela’s green gaze. “It’s about using the infinity stones to help make you fertile.”

Hela averted her gaze from Naruto, as this topic was painful for her. She despised the reality of being unable to bear children, but she believed that with the power of the infinity stones, she could alter her situation.

"Are you still intimate with her?" Hela inquired, not particularly bothered by Naruto's involvement with Valkyrie, but curious to know if he would be truthful with her.

"Yes, I had sex with her hours earlier," Naruto replied honestly, making Hela's brow twitch in annoyance that she probably sucked some of Valkyrie's taste off her husband's dick.

"You realize you're being a jerk, don’t you?" Hela remarked, fully aware that her husband wouldn't cease his interactions with Valkyrie. "But if you plan on being with her again, it needs to happen with me there, not in secret."

"I'm sorry if I've hurt you in any way, my love," Naruto said, leaning in for a hug with Hela. "But right now, we need to concentrate on collecting the Infinity Stones before we deal with this Thanos character."

"Everything's fine, but I can't help but wonder," Hela said, her eyes shimmering as she gazed into her husband's blue eyes. "During the centuries I was sealed away while you were in exile, was Valkyrie the only woman you were with?"

Hela inquired while a blade extended from her hand, hovering dangerously close to Naruto's groin, causing him to gulp anxiously, as he had indeed been with several other partners.
