"No!" Momoshiki cried out in anguish as the reaper consumed his soul. Meanwhile, Naruto Uzumaki collapsed lifelessly to the ground. Then something happened in a flash of crimson light; his body was gone, his soul along with Kurama's remained intact but had vanished to an unknown location.
