Jor-El and Zod were taken aback by the severity of their punishment; being banished to the Phantom Zone was, in many respects, more dreadful than death. It was a realm where one would lose all physical sensations and exist like a mere specter, not to mention the terrifying creatures that inhabit the Phantom Zone, some of which had been exiled there by Krypton itself.

"You can't go through with this," Zor-El said, still in disbelief. He couldn't wrap his head around the fact that this was the punishment they opted for. "This is incredibly harsh."

"There's no need to argue, Jor-El. These idiots have made their decision, and I refuse to plead for my life before such scum," Zod declared, frustration evident in his voice as he resigned himself to his fate. "I suppose you'll be sending my troops to the Phantom Zone alongside me."

The members of the Lawmakers Guild remained silent, as there was no need for them to respond. Zod's soldiers chose to support him and turn against Krypton, and they will face the same consequences for their actions.

"You'll come to regret this, you cowardly fools," Zod snarled, as Jor-El was instructed to step aside for a phantom zone generator that was being aimed at him. "By remaining passive, you are sealing Krypton's fate. You are the true traitors, not me. But remember this: if you don't perish in Krypton's downfall, I will take your lives myself."

Dru-Zod's words sent chills through the members of the Lawmakers Guild, prompting them to instruct the individual who had brought the zone generator to activate it. Several Zod were then dispatched into the Phantom Zone, accompanied by his men, who were escorted in and sent in groups of four.

"Good riddance," one of the Lawmakers Guild members scoffed as the final members of the Dru-Zod rebellion were dispatched to the Phantom Zone.

Krypton is on the verge of destruction, and we need to take action," Naru-To declared, his voice firm and resolute, while Lyta's eyes grew wide in response to his words.

Lyta-Zod shut her eyes, anticipating her demise, but it never arrived. Instead, she sensed her chin being raised and opened her remaining eye to gaze into Naru-To's blue eyes.

"I have no desire to harm you, Lyta. What I truly wish is for you to ally with me in our mission to save Krypton and eventually liberate your son," Naru-To stated, causing a brief pause in the female Zod's mind. She perceived Naru-To as being delusional, but after their confrontation, as she processed her anger and sorrow, her thoughts began to shift towards logic. Could it be true that Krypton was in peril? And why was the council so quick to dismiss Jor-El's warnings and banish her son as if they were hiding something?
