And there's frame one! And only frame one. I was hoping to have more to show by now, buuuuuut I did run into some troubles. First of all, I tried switching to a line with a consistent width. I had problems drawing certain features that way, and had to switch pressure sensitivity back on in order to get some control back. It does mean a higher risk of inconsistencies frame-to-frame, but that wasn't too much of a problem last time, so I'm not too worried about it.
Secondly, the last animation was very much intended to have a feeling of weightlessness, which made mapping it out pretty easy. Now things actually have to have a lot of weight, which is going to mean a lot more rough sketching that isn't worth showing just yet. Gotta get that liquid movement feeling right otherwise it'll be a complete bust.
Sorry about the slow start to this one, but I am very excited to see where this goes. Hope you guys are too. See you next wednesday with... some fluid experiments!
