Update to Billing Cycle
Added 2022-09-28 09:07:24 +0000 UTCHello! So Patreon has a new update where creators can switch to Subscription Billing which I've already activated for my own page.
What this basically means is that new Patrons will be charged on the day they subscribed monthly rather than the 1st day of each month. A lot fairer for new or returning patrons I think.
I do not think this applies to existing patrons and you all will still be charged on the 1st, but if any of you unsub and then resub in the future, then this information may apply to you.
And when I need a break and pause the billing cycle, it will resume exactly one month after I paused. People won't be able to subscribe to my page during this time.
Anyway I like this change. It feels more flexible for everyone. Hope that helps explains what's going on moving forward!
