Clair-Obscur / Lumière (Simplified Version) - TABS + Sheet Music
Added 2025-06-16 17:20:14 +0000 UTCI had a ton of requests to make a more beginner-friendly version of Clair-Obscur, so here you go! The thought process here is it keeps the melody and harmony, so it'll still sound like the original piece, but it gets rid all barre chords and some inner voicings to make it easier on the hands. I think it still sounds great!

Hi Priscila, Thanks for the question! This song is one of m favorites, too. Generally, with fingerstyle guitar you want to use your thumb for the low note (bass note), and follow it up with the next fingers in your hand for the next notes. For example, if we look at the 2nd bar of this song, you would use your thumb for the first note, 0 on the low E string, then index finger for 0 on the D string, and then for the 0 and 0 played together on the G and B string you would use your middle and ring finger.
