The winner of our last poll! Glad you're all digging the clair obscur stuff as much as I am. One of my favorite aspects about all the tracks from the game is that they strike this really perfect balance of having very approachable harmony with interesting changes throughout. This song juggles 4/4 and 3/4, which along with the harmony give it a very whimsical feel, especially with the melody floating on top.

Continuing our journey of getting tabs up for every single pokemon town theme! Here's one from my first pokemon game: red/blue/yellow. I've been really enjoying a slower "lullaby" sort of sound for the town themes from the older games to really try to give that nostalgic feeling.
Blaine has always been my favorite gym leader, so I had a ton of fun with this one. It brings back good memories surfing on the side of Cinnabar island as a kid to get rare pokemon. Enjoy!

Anyone here pick up a Switch 2? I've been having a blast with the new Mario Kart (despite being terrible at it), and decided it'd be fun to write out a song or two from it. This song is actually from the original Mario Kart way back on the SNES, and in the new game they gave it a funky electronic remix with a samba-ish feel.
I decided to take it as more of a bossa, since I thought it'd sound great for solo guitar. Let me know if you end up learning it!

I had a ton of requests to make a more beginner-friendly version of Clair-Obscur, so here you go! The thought process here is it keeps the melody and harmony, so it'll still sound like the original piece, but it gets rid all barre chords and some inner voicings to make it easier on the hands. I think it still sounds great!

Thanks for requesting this one! It's an interesting tune; it uses a lot of familiar root position chord shapes but has a couple jumps to accomodate the melody. Lots of time signature changes, too! If ya'll have any more clair obsure requests, I'd love to hear.

It's a tough call, for this might be my personal favorite track from Clair Obscur! It has a really gorgeous melody and some pretty unique structure to it.
Since Clair-Obscur and Alicia are both on the harder side, I also wanted to write out a song that's a little more approachable for beginners. I wrote out a 2nd version of it just for ya'll here on Patreon that removes some of the harder stretches for easier options. Let me know if you end up learning it!

As far as menu themes go, this has to be up there as one of the best. Super beautiful melody and writing. I also love how it lays on the guitar. It sounds great on nylon or steel string, too!

As soon as I heard this song in the game, I knew I wanted to arrange it. I'm not finished yet, but I can already tell this game is such a gem. It's such a rich story and world and the music is top notch! I already have a few other ideas for arrangements from it.
Oblivion was one of the defining games of my childhood, so when I saw they released a remaster I knew I wanted to arrange something. This song is very atmospheric and has a more loose time feel. Lots of lush strings and dynamics that was tricky to put on a guitar - I'd say it was a success, though!
I'll bet if you've never played an Elder Scrolls game you might still have heard this song - it's pretty common in tiktoks, memes, etc.
