General Story Theme
Added 2021-09-02 22:38:54 +0000 UTCI have five loose ideas and themes. All will include LIs and all the rest of it, this is just for the world at large.
1 - Space Themed. This idea has likely come from me discovering Star War: The Clones Wars and completely falling back in love with the Star Wars universe, and also always having Mass Effect as an inspiration. This would be futuristic and take place on a mix of an alien world and space ships. It is a very long shot from where I am now, but I'd very much like to make a world like the Star Wars planet seen here from 30 seconds onwards (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1QtygmVrQPw) as my skills grow. This would be an OC Universe, not copied from other games.
2 - Late 18th Century Themed. I had the idea of a group of British Soldiers discovering an abandoned island and establishing life there. It would be drawing on history mainly as the inspiration for the surroundings, mixed with Lost (well, the first ten episodes of Lost minus the smoke and a ship rather than a plane). The locations would be a tropical island and a nautical theme.
3 - Biblical End of Times/Mythological Theme crossing into the modern day. Very inspired by the TV Series Sleepy Hollow, minus America. Angels and Daemons and humans assisting them with their plots and establishing a karma like system similar to Fable where you could choose who to side with. This would switch fantasy and contemporary locations and be set in the UK again.
4 - Fantasy Themed. Taking some inspiration from Dragon Age and Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones and the King Arthur movie, this would take place in a fantasy world with castles and medieval towns. This would focus on playing as some form of nobility with your land threatened, forcing you to make choices to keep your people safe, or court LI's politically. The locations would be medieval era.
5 - Just modern themed again. Similar to Defending Lydia Collier, it would be set in the United Kingdom as some form of investigator, potentially a genuine journalist looking into a shady underworld connection.
