Before I start raving about the future, I think it'll be good to start with what's happening right now. namely, all the pre-work that's going into the character models.
main thing, before the actual game kicks off is a refinement of my old code structure. yes, I already wrote something for getting more than one character on screen at a time, but it really wasnt set up for more than a handful, or actually remembering what everyone looked like. luckily though, I've learned plenty of tricks with these last few projects, so getting this to work perfectly shouldnt be -too- hard.
on the long end, I'm reaching out to the other devs who've been using the template, so I can officially add their new costumes in! also, I've been thinking about commissioning some artists to draw a few of the new characters, this time around.
anyways.. eventually, we'll get some of those extra layers on the kit too. like underwear, body hair, sweat, dirt, damage, maybe a skirt layer, maybe a pregnancy belly and definitely that long-awaited futa section.
if that sounds like a lot to chew through, dont worry.. I'll be getting those gameplay previews & prototypes released before I pour all that time into the art ~ so fret not!
