the first iteration was the yellow one, really wasn't feeling it but didn't want to abandon the pose and idea. from the neck down the design is still strong but there are obvi problems with the face
the second iteration was addressing the face on the same day, and while it started to shift in the right direction, it still feels stiff and lifeless. one thing that i care about more than just about anything in my art is making something look alive, and the face is critical to do so. i stopped working on it for that day and came back the next one to redo it, which resulted in the final face. the rest of the body was modified to match it
