For me personally, episode 3 and 4 are the "weakest" of the series. But it's not that I dislike them as a whole. Especially Kaya as a person and the meeting of Arlong and Buggy are amazing. But some decisions made in this episode and the coming one feel a little bit off when you know the Anime/Manga version. Other than that, episode 3 and 4 are far away from "really bad" and I think, even as a One Piece fan, you can find enjoyment in this alternative writing for the Syrup Village arc. Great reaction!
