Life, Lizards, and Gunwhale

To start this post, let's go over some of the important stuff. First off, I decided to can the Discord server for a while since it wasn't very active and wasn't really useful for sending art since I don't have nitro. I'll probably make a new server once the comic is underway & has interest in it.

Speaking of the comic, today I finished the final draft of the first chapter, along with outlines for chapters II and III. With this (and all the other things I've been writing/drawing over the last few months) preproduction on the comic is more or less finished, and all that's left is to start drawing pages for it.

However, since we're in the process of moving house (and won't be fully moved in until the first week of February or so) I think I'm going to wait until then to start full production on the comic. Mainly because I want to be able to get into a good work schedule, and don't want to wrestle with packing/moving while trying to get a comic started. Once the drawing has begun though, I aim to do ~40 pages a month. (Roughly 2 chapters per month)

In the meantime, I'll probably just be playing Monster Hunter Rise (and maybe a bit of 4U), reading a couple more reference books, and maybe try doing some practice drawings. (Since I haven't been doing many finished pieces lately, just sketches & doodles.)

Aside from all that stuff, we recently got a crested gecko named Vivi. I was able to set up a little bioactive tank for him. Though, I need to get another colony of isopods for it, since I don't have any p. laevis to spare rn. (I also need to redo the setup a bit after we move, since I definitely didn't include enough climbing space.) I thought that might be neat to include in this post.
