I became a ST fan when they were releasing singles for Take Me Back To Eden. Quickly became a fan, and was salivating for the whole album drop. Once I listened to the album a million times, I was ready to dive into their older albums. Euclid is a favorite off TMBTE for the emotion that it brings out in me. So when I put on Sundowning, and The Night Does Not Belong To God played I immediately thought some of the lyrics sounded familiar. How he starts this trilogy of albums, and incorporates so many callbacks and lyrics from previous songs for the ending of the trilogy can bring a girl to tears. I saw ST back in September on tour for their first show. It was a spiritual experience for sure. I hope you get to see them in concert soon. They haven’t announced any dates, but I would bet they wouldn’t just do a tour in the U.S. My guess is they will announce Europe dates in the new year.

2025-07-27 02:27:49 +0000 UTCSay That You Will is one of their most underrated songs imo. It is a grower for sure, but I could tell you were starting to feel it during the breakdown. The song is very emotionally driven, and it is one of their most powerful breakdowns emotionally (next to high water) “You’ve got me up in a frenzy again” there are callbacks in “Apparition” - “I woke up to a suicide frenzy” and “Past Self” - “If this is real, then I am all up in a frenzy, not like before when I was empty”
